Virescence is a important contents for"New Beijing, New Olympic games". In order to make the mountain in Beijing greener and greener , the water in Beijing more and more limpid and the sky in Beijing bluer and bluer, we have to finish the objects of"Action Plan of Green Olympic"and"General Urban Plan of Beijing from 2004 to 2020". The aim of"extract and analysis of multi-scale forest cover information in Beijing"is to trace and analyze the states of woodland in multi-scale in whole Beijing from a tree, a stand, virescence partition, to the city zone and whole city, applying 3S technology especially remote sensing and GIS, and to support decision-making of the government. The second aim is to visualize the variety of woodland and growth sight of trees in riverside of Wenyuhe in Chaoyang district in Beijing, and to show beautiful scene of Green Olympic. The other aim is to search after growth model of Baiyang trees in riverside of Wenyuhe in Chaoyang district in Beijing, and to discuss a method to distinguish from trees type and to calculate forest cumulate quantity with LIDAR technology instanced by a forest land in Changping in Beijing. This paper gains production as following:1 This paper break a new path for trees growth research to introduce mathematics and cartography into trees growth visualization firstly and synchronously with fractal and square root principle to forecast trees shape, structure and number of branch. It provides a kind of interface way between morphogenetic model and ecophysiological model of trees.2 It proposed a kind of ecophysiological model fit for Chinese white poplar in riverside of Wenyuhe in Beijing. Based on it, 4 dimensions scene virtual reality technology is explored. Time roam and space roam are realized to some extent; it offers significative reference to research 4 dimensions scene virtual reality.3 It enriches existed method to calculate forest cumulate quantity with LIDAR technology.
