The cashmere is a good material in textile, and comes from the second hair follicle of Cashmere goat. The quantity and quality of cashmere depend on the structures and characteristics of the hair follicle directly.Through the statistic and observation of the histological cycling on skin and hair follicle regarding Inner Mongolian cashmere goat and Liaoning Cashmere goat as material, the cycling is the same between the two kinds of goats, and the thickness of the epidermis of skin also is different. The reconstruction of the hair follicle is from the connection of the epithelial and mesenchymal. In this period, the secondary hair follicle appears as groups, and the high peaks of each characteristic fall behind of the primary hair follicle for a month mostly. Except for the hair bulb breadth of primary hair follicle, other characteristics of Inner Mongolian Cashmere goat are higher than Liaoning Cashmere goat, but the secondary hair follicle is not. And the differentias are remarkable in many months. The depth, density, S/P, breadth of follicle and the speed of growth are main factors, which affect production of cashmere.The skin follicle subtractive cDNA library of the Inner Mongolian Cashmere Goat were constructed by suppression subtractive hybridization. 50 clones which were derived from the Embryonic Stage and Anagen cDNA library respectively were sequenced and blasted with known gene in Genbank. 15 cDNA fragments were obtained from the Embryonic Stage cDNA library, 14 fragments corresponded to known gene and one was unknown sequence. 19 cDNA fragments were obtained from anagen cDNA library, 17 cDNA fragments corresponded to known gene and two was unknown sequence. The in situ hybridization of mRNA during Embryonic Stage shows that the gene of only appearance in embryonic stage is only expressed in Outer root sheath and a part of matrix.
