With the development of tourism in Beijing, the forest recreation appears to be increasingly important in West Mountain Area of Beijing, however, various reasons make the scenic recreational forest tending and low-effect forest reafforestation to the weakest link in forestry, the problems of forest structure and quality issues are severe, all do these affect the development of forest recreation industry, forest ecological benefits, and hinder forest healthy development.Though many kinds of types and methods existing in the trees tending in domestic and foreign, they are more or less the same in essence. The ascertaining of theory about these types and methods almost aims at fostering basically timber, in order to make use of felling. At present, on the condition of various benefits of forest demand, the original tending regulation and standard can not meet demand obviously, especially in scenic recreation forest tending.Above all, learning studies on the scenic recreation forest at home and abroad, combining with the research in Beijing, development status and trends of scenic recreation forest trending, on the basis of research and practice of scenic recreation forest in Beijing Xi Shan area, the paper puts forward scenic recreation forest trending technology in Beijing Xi Shan area, evaluates the raising effect.According to forest land characteristics of forestry types in Jiu Feng National Forest Park and Western Hills National Forest Park, in accordance with different categories of scenic forest and recreation forest, with Chinese pine forest,larch forest,Platycladus orientalis forest,quercus variabilis forest's upbringing as a target, by the establishment of scenic recreation forest's evaluation index system and scenic evaluation model, the paper have conclusion as follows: the scenic beauty degree factors order of scenic forest is "color richness">"color variation degree">"stand uniformity" > "forest perspective distance"> "stand species richness"> "stand average diameter"> "canopy density"; the scenic beauty degree factors order of recreation forest is: "forest health status"> " average height of clearance ">" forest perspective distance ">" leaf color degree, ">" stand uniformity ">" forest gap distribution ">" shrub-grass coverage".As a result, according to scenic beauty degree factors, the tending technology of scenic forest and recreation forest is proposed; and then tending the Chinese pine forest, larch forest,Platycladus orientalis forest,quercus variabilis forest under different tending intensity, doing research on tending results, we can know that intermediate cutting's difference have a great impact on diameter, tree height and crown growth, undergrowth species richness of scenic and recreation forest, while lower tending intensity suits for scenic forest, moderate tending intensity suits for recreation forest. On the basis of these, some measures should be adopt to improve diameter, tree height and crown growth, undergrowth species richness of scenic and recreation forest, and furthermore to improve the scenic beauty degree. Finally, the paper evaluates the tending effects of scenic forest and recreation forest separately, verifies the scientific of scenic evaluation model and scenic effect of tending technology. The results verify that tending technology can increase the scenic beauty degree of scenic and recreation forest on a high degree, at the same time , the conclusions—the Chinese pine forest, larch forest, Platycladus orientalis forest,quercus variabilis forest's intermediate cutting difference have a great impact on scenic and recreation forest, lower tending intensity suits for scenic forest, moderate tending intensity suits for recreation forest—are assured again.forest status, practice of bringing up management, evaluation of tending indicators and evaluation of tending effect, this project establishes integrated optimization technology of tending management of scenic and recreation forest in Beijing areas, provides theoretical guidance for the management and technical model for tending management in Beijing areas.
