After treatment, the a cupotomy group and electro-acupuncture group had varying degrees of change, both groups were can improve the mechanical properties, acupotomy on the rel axation rate had a positive impact, compared with electro-acupuncture group improved significantly, close to the level of the normal control group. 5Real-time PCR and Western blot Test results:After modeling, Knee oste oarthritis rabbits lateral collateral ligament TGF-β1, COL-I, TIMP-1mRNA an d reduced levels of protein expression, MMP-13expression level increased. S tatistical differences compared with the normal control group. After treatme nt, the acupotomy group and electro-acupuncture group has a regulatory role, can TGF-β1, COL-I, TIMP-1mRNA and protein expression level increased, decr eased expression levels of MMP-13. Prompt acupotomy or electro-acupuncture t reatment for ligament TGF-β1, COL-I, TIMP-1mRNA and protein expression has played a good role in regulating, but acupotomy regulation is better than e lectro-acupuncture.Conclusion1Acupotomy treatment can improve knee osteoarthritis rabbit tissue infl ammation, reduce matrix degeneration and promote tissue repair. Acupotomy tr eatment on cartilage and ligament tissue has a good repair.2Acupotomy treatment effectively adjust the biomechanical properties of ligaments, restore ligament can be affected by stress, regulating ligament function, restore knee mechanics balance.3Acupotomy treatment effectively regulate ligament matrix, restoring th e structure and function of ligament, inhibit the pathological process of kn ee osteoarthritis.4Acupotomy treatment for knee joint mechanics adjustment effect, may be an important mechanism for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.
