| Purpose：To summarize distribution regularity syndrome types of heart failureand clinical drug laws of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) to seeking to betterguide clinical treatment of chronic heart failure by analyzed relatedliterature；In order to provide reference to clinical experience and scientificresearch, and reflect advantages of TCM in chronic heart failure(CHF), thisarticle conclude the differentiation-prescription rules of CHF by aretrospective analysis of clinical data of CHF；In order to spread clinicalexperience and academic thoughts of professor Zhang Yan,through summarized therules of prescriptions to treat CHF.Material and method：1.The statistical methods were adopted to analyze the characters of thesyndromes,the law of the principle of treatment and the prescriptions and drugsin the diseases related to chronic heart failure；The data mining technique wasadopted to analyze the relationship between symptoms,syndrome,principle oftreatment,herbs and their meridian entry.2.Retrospective review232cases of valid chronic heart failure patientdiagnosed by TCM,Symptoms clinical signs,tongue,pulse and symptom types oftraditional Chinese medicine of232patients were collected,to analyze52commonsymptoms using cluster analysis and principal component analysis.3. Entering the clinical data of the186example of the chronic heart failurepatients. Concluded the character of the disease symptom and the knowledge ofthe treatment and laws of using drugs by using the methods of frequency analysisand the associated rules method of analysis. Results：1. The sum of the literatures met the requirement was53．The main pattem typeswith higher constituent ratio included:pattern of heart qi deficiency, patternof qi-yin deficiency，pattern of edema due to yang deficiency,pattern of heartyang deficiency，pattern of qi deficiency and blood stasis， and pattern ofheart-kidney yang-deficiency．The nature of CHF was characterized by asthenia，in which the deficiency of yang，qi and qi-yin were the most common ones．Thepathological products of CHF included：blood stasis，excessive fluid and phlegmturbid．The main location of CHF was in heart an d often related to kidney andlung in the process of disease. Through the analysis of the distribution of CHFmedication can be seen commonly used drug treatment of CHF in general have poria,salvia, licorice, cassia twig, Atractylodes, red ginseng root, Tinglizi,Ophiopogon, Schisandra，etc. As can be seen in the treatment of CHF drugs remainsdiuresis medicine, qi drugs, drug yang, Yin drugs, blood-based medicine.2.Chronic heart failure is the main age group of60years and older,femalesslightly higher than the incidence of males；the original to the pathogenesisof coronary heart disease is the most common. In this study, the frequency ofsymptoms of palpitations was74.57%,69.40%for shortness of breath,and35.34%for lassitude；tongue and pulse is shown by:tongue is mainly red or fat,whiteand thin fur,mostly pulse string,thin,smooth. Statistical analysis of clusteranalysis and principal component analysis for the symptoms of chronic heartfailure in232cases analyzed, the results showed that: chronic heart failuresyndromes can be divided into five categories.3.The186CHF patients,242treatment regimen, medication98flavor, commonlyused drugs are salvia miltiorrhiza，poria cocos，paeoniae radix， astragalus，ligusticum wallichii， grifola， angelica， cassia twig， ginseng，radix rehmanniae， ophiopogon japonicus. Compatibility with ginseng andastragalus root, motherwort herb, salvia miltiorrhiza, and rehmannia andophiopogon japonicus. From the correlation analysis results, Professor Zhangcommonly used drugs on ginseng with astragalus, Salvia with safflower, Tingliziwith Poria, etc. This rule reflects the drug treatment of chronic heart failure. Obtained by cluster analysis covers six categories qi medicine, bloodcirculation drugs, diuresis medicine, phlegm drugs, sedative drugs, yin tonic,qi medicine, warm in medicine.Conclusion：1. The literature analysis of pattern identification of CHF can providereferences and foundations for establishing pattern identification standardsand rational use of medicine of CHF in the future．2. The232cases of heart failure symptoms in patients with clusteranalysis,summarized five syndromes are: heart and lung qi deficiency, qideficiency and stasis，water-rheum intimidating the heart,heart and kidneyyang deficiency,qi-yin deficiency.3. Instructor Professor Zhang Yan Chinese medicine treatment of chronic heartfailure has accumulated rich experience, that the heart Qi deficiency is thebasic pathogenesis of this disease, phlegm, water drinking, blood stasis isstandard. Qi and yang, Blood and Water as the basic rule is, accordinglyconcentrated cure chronic heart failure cardiac decoction, and put forward forthe treatment of this disease syndrome and the debate should be combined withDisease, in medicine and Western medicine, made in the clinical good effect.
