NTFs, behalfed by NGF, have many kinds of trophism for peripheral nerves (PN) after they get injuried. But most of data are from basal experiments. The technology of culture of exogenetic NGF in vitro is qualified now, however, the exogenetic NGF can't get through blood-brain barrier (BBB) and blood-nerve barrier (BNB) because it is a kind of marcomolecular protein, thus its extensive application on clinic is limited, now, many scholors have turned their study direction to enhancing the content of endogenous NGF. AS an effective iatrotechnique, acupuncture has been accepted on clinic. The purpose of this experiment is to prove there are some kinds of relationship between acupuncture and endogenous NGF, and to reveal the mechanism of acupuncture. The main conclusions are:1.Acupuncture can promote significantly the regeneration and renovation of injuried PN, and the therapeutic effect of electrical-needle is better than that of the hand-needle.2.Acupuncture can abate the hydrops of the injuried sciatic nerve trunks, protect PN and prevent retrograde degeneration .3.Acupuncture can improve the recovery ratio of injuried sciatic nerve in MCV and MAP, as is in accordance with the myodynamia of wounded limbs.4.After PN injuried, acupuncture can enhance the function of schwann cell,impel it to secrete NGF^ NGFR^ bFGF^ and prolong the effective period of endogenous NTF.5.In combination with the change of motor endplate (MEP) and myodynamia, acupuncture can improve the function of wounded limbs.Thus it can seen, acupuncture has its objective basis in treating PN disease. At the same time, as an important role, acupuncture can't be replaced in treating PN diseases.
