Purpose:Endometriosis (EMS) is considered as the difficult and complex disease which persecute women in the 21th century. The mainly pathological change is periodic bleeding of the EMS focus and fibrosis around it. It makes EMS focus come into being bluishpurplish or brownish spot or cystic bubble, even material tubercle or mass In the research, we have studied and discussed the effects of "Hua Yu San Jie" herbal medicines (Fu long Ning) on monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-l)x intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), transforming growth factor- β1 (TGF P i) and fibronection (FN) and the expression of its mRNA in ectopic endometrium through the experiments on the rat model of EMS. The purpose is advantedly discussing the effects of Fu Tong Ning on planting, adhereing and growing of ectopic endometrium and fibrosis around it in respect of immunology. Method:To make the rat model of EMS x to treat by feeding Fu Tong Nng (FTN)> to use "GUI ZHI FU LI" pill (GZFL) as control in the same time and to test the distribution, the relative contents of MCP-1 , ICAM-K TGFP(> FN and the expression of its mRNA by using immunohistiochemistry (SABC) and RT-PCR Thus comfirming the functions of MCP-U ICAM-1> TGF P K FN in course of forming EMS, and observing the effects of FTN on the secretion of MCP-U ICAM-1 ? TGF P i or FN and the expression of its mRNA in ectopic endometrium.Result:1. The result of immunohistiochemistry:1.1 In the rat model of EMS, MCP-1 mainly distributes at the interstitial cells and the gland cells of ectopic endometrium. In the normal group, there is hardly basic expression, and there is wider stain range and deepper stain in the rat model group than in the normal group. Compared with the rat model group, there is less stain range in FTN group and GZFL group But FTN group excel GZFL group. Therelative contents of positive cells have also evident differential (P<0.01) between FTN group or GZFL group and the rat model group, so do between FTN group and GZFL group (P<0.05).1.2 In the rat model of EMS, ICAM-1 mainly distributes at the interstitial cells of ectopic endometrium. In the normal group, there is weak expression and there is less narrow stain range and lighter stain than in the rat model group. Compared with the rat model group, there is less stain range in FTN group and GZFL group. But FTN group excel GZFL group. The relative contents of positive cells have also obvious differential (P<0.01) between FTN group or GZFL group and the rat model group, so do between FTN group and GZFL group (P<0.05).1.3 In the rat model of EMS, TGF β i mainly distributes at the gland cells and the basal cells , there is less distribution in the interstitial cells than in gland cells.
