To explore the structure and function of periarteries measured by color Doppler flow imaging and cardiac catheterization selective coronary angiography. Their age, sex, body mass index, smoking status, blood pressure ,plasma and serum of levels of glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoproteins, non-high density lipoproteins, oxidized LDL, endothelin(ET) and nitric oxide(NO) were determined . The aim of this study was determine c ardiovascular risk factor and to define periarteries values and index by ultrasound for predicting coronary lesion. The relation between different artery in different part of body.Part1. Lipid Oxidation and Endothelial Function in CoronaryAtherosclerosisObjective: The purpose was to explore the relationship between the coronary atherosclerosis and endothelium function or lipidoxidative function. Materials and Methods: All subjects ( 68M, 2F, age range 46 ~ 82 years) underwent cardiac catheterization with selective coronary angiography . Their age, sex, body mass index, smoking status, blood pressure ,plasma and serum of levels of glucose, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoproteins, non-high density lipoproteins, oxidized LDL, endothelin(ET) and nitric oxide(NO) were measured . Results: Subjects were divided two groups, according to coronary lesion (50 cases , and non-coronary lesion . The plasma levels of OxLDL (65.73+5.37 mmol/L vs 46.95 7.74mmol/L) and ET (91.92 8.50pg/mL vs 82.81 7.36pg/mL ) were higher in group with coronary lesion than those of group with non-coronary lesion (P<0.05), but the level of NO (65.31 9.87mol/L vs 87.62 7.37umol/L ,P<0.05 ) decreased. Conditions: The studies showed hypertension , hyper-glucose , total cholesterol, triglycerides, are major risk factors for coronary atherosclerosis and strong correlation between oxidized LDL, endothelin(ET) ,nitric oxide(NO) and formulation and progression of coronary atherosclerosis .Part Diagnosis of Large Arterial Atherosclerosis with UltrasoundObjective: The clinical values and index for confirming the changes of structure and function in large artery were established by ultrasound examination. Materials and Methods: All subjects underwent high resolution ultrasound to mearure intima-media thickness (IMT) , plaque in common and interal carotid arteries, peak of systolic velocity, end diastolic velocity in common carotid arteries , resistive index and acceleration time of peak of systolic velocity, invert peak of early diastolic velocity andwhole invert peak time in femoral arteries, as well as peak of systolic velocity, end diastolic velocity and resistive index in vertebral artery and heart function and ventricle ,arial dimention. Results: Subjects were intima-media thickness in common carotid and femoral arteries ( 0.99 0.14mm vs 0.81 0.15mm , P0.05 and 0.98 0.14mm vs 0.82 0.10mm , P0.05 ) and carotid plaques [ 31 cases (62%) vs 7 cases (28%) , P<0.05 ] in coronary lesion group had significantly higher than those in non-coronary lesion group. Cutoff values of IMT in common carotid and femoral arteries were 0.86mm and 0.88mm . Invert peak and whole time on invert peak ( 0.18 0.10cm/s vs 0.30+0.25 cm/s, P0.05 , 76.01 26.48ms vs 98.20 19.62ms ,PO.05) in femoral arteries decreased in coronary lesion group . Conclusion: It has been suggested that strong relation between CCA-IMT ,carotid plaque and coronary atherosclerosis had been showed. Our present study showed the associations of large arterial structure and function assessed by ultrasound with femoral-invert peak velocity and whole time of invert peak velocity. Cutoff values of IMT in common carotid and femoral arteries were 0.86mm and 0.88mm . IMT of common carotid and femoral arteries ,carotid plaques and invert peak velocity , whole time of invert peak velocity in femoral arteries can be used as an indicators of artery atherosclerosis.Part Relationship between Structure and Function of Large Arteries and Coronary AtherosclerosisObjective: The aim of the present study was to determine the relation between...
