| Nauclea officinalis Pierre ex Pitard (Rubiaceae) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used as an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial traditional agent in clinic. A number of indole alkaloids have been isolated from Nauclea species, which have interesting biological activities. In our search for new bioactive constituents, ten new indole alkaloids, along with 28 known compounds, were isolated from the bark and wood of Nauclea officinalis. The chemical structures of those compounds were identified based on chemical reaction, spectral analysis (1HNMR, 13C-NMR, 2D NMR, MS, UV and IR) and by comparison their spectral data with those reported previously in the literatures. The new compounds include four indole alkaloids(NOH14), one indole alkaloids glycoside(N027) and five oxindole alkaloids glycosides(NO2832) as bellow: naucleactonin A(NO11), nauclelactonin B(NO12) naucleactonin C(NO13), naucleactonin D(NO14), naucleamide A-10-O- β-D-grucopyranoside(NO27), naucleoxoside A(NO28), naucleoxoside B(NO29), naucleoxoside C(NO30), naucleoxoside D(NO31), naucleoxoside E (NO32). The other known compounds were identified as β-sitosterol (NO01), sitosterone (NO02), 3-O-acetylerythrodiol (NO03), oleanlic acid(NO04), vanillin (NO05), veratric acid(NO06), 3,4-dimethoxycinnamic acid(NO07), glycosmisic acid (NO08), naucleficine(NO09), nauclefidine(NOlO), 19-O- ethylangustoline(NO15), angustoline(N016), 3-S-3,4-dihydroangustoline(NO17), 3-R-3,4-dihydroangustoline(NO18), strictosamide(NO19), vincosamide(NO20), 6'-acetyl-strictosamide(NO21), 2'-acetyl-strictosamide(NO22), pumiloside(NO23), 3-epi-pumiloside(NO24), 5-β-carboxystrictosidin(NO25), naucleamide(NO26),7,14-N,N-cyclotetradecane-1,8-dione(NO33), sweroside(NO34), loganin(NO35), 3,4-dimethoxyphenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside(NO36),3,4,5-drimethoxyphenyl-β-D-glucopyranoside(NO37), NO38: 2-phenethyl rutinoside(NO38). Among those compounds, 34 compounds were first isolated from this plant except for NO01,... |
