In this paper, we studied on chemical constituents from Belamcanda chinensis (L.) DC and Ervatamia hainanensis Tsiang. Thirty-five compounds were isolated from the rhizomes of Belamcanda chinensis by column chromatography. And 32 compounds (BC01~BC32) were identified on the basis of chemical reaction and spectral analysis. Among them, there were two new compounds, one natural compound and twelve compounds were isolated for the first time from it. The total isoflavones of Belamcanda chinensis from Belamcanda chinensis showed estrogenic effect on estrogen-dificiency rats. Thirty-four compounds were isolated from the the root and stem of Ervatamia hainanensis by column chromatography. And 30 compounds (EH01~EH30) were identified on the basis of chemical reaction and spectral analysis. Among them, there were two new compounds and eight compounds were isolated for the first time from it. The absolute configuration of EH08 was determined for the first time. The total alkaloid of Ervatamia hainanensis (TEHA) display significant reverse effects on development of CPP induced by morphine in mice, and also showed reverse effects on reinstatement of CPP induced by morphine in mice.
