Clinical And Experimental Study On The Effect Of Tubulointerstitial Injury Of IgA Nephropathy With Shen-Yan-Zhi-Xue Pill

On the basis of Prof Zhang Qi's experience in the treatment of hematuria caused by IgA nephropathy(IgAN), the researcher discussed deeply the IgAN mechanism of deficiency of both vital energy and yin accompanied with damp-heat and blood stasis, and indicated that the mechanism was the basis of deficiency of both vital energy and yin, and deficiency of kidney yin, damp-heat with blood stasis. The treatment methods should be tonifying vital energy and yin, removing blood heat, stopping bleeding, and eliminating damp-heat as well as promoting blood circulation and stopping blood stasis. On the above, the researcher promoted the research on treating 38 cases with IgAN by SHEN-YAN-ZHI-XUE pill; in order to study the mechanism of IgAN, the researcher made an experiment with animals and observed pathological change of kidney tissue(renal tubule and interstitium) and expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA), a-smooth muscle actin(a-SMA), plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 (PAI-1), CD44 in renal tubule and interstitium , and changes of RBC in urine, 24-hours quantitation of urine protein, renal function, retinol binding protein(RBP), n-acetyl-(3-d-glucosaminidase(NAG), urine interleukin-6 (uIL-6) by optical microscope, electron microscope, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemical method, hybridization in situ and colored medicine image analysis system. Result : 1.Compared with control group with persantine. The treatment group with SHEN-YAN-ZHI-XUE pill was better in improving symptoms and sign, reduce urine protein , RBC and kidney function; 2. Reduce IgA in blood and deposition in glomerular mesangial region, and prevent the detriment of glomcrulus; 3. Improve the damage of glomcrulus and renal tubule and interstitium; 4.
