1. The Chemical Research on Preparation of Traditional ChineseMedicines Named Sini-TangSini-Tang created by Zhong-Jing Zhang, a famous Chinese traditional decoction from the Treatise on Febrile Disease, consists of Aconitum carmichaeli Debx., Zingiber officinale Rose, and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch.. It has the function of dispelling cold by warming the middle warmer and reviving the yang for resuscitation. In clinic it is used to treat patients with symptoms of infirmity, being in a cold sweat, feeling cold in the limbs, lientery and faint pulse. Pharmacological research showed that Sini-Tang has significant functions of tonifing the heart, boosting blood pressure and antishock..In order to clarify the chemical substantial foundation of sini Tang and explore the chemical methods of studying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we systematically studied the chemical constituents of Sini-Tang. This work could offer gist for quality control and clinical application of this preparation.Twenty-five compounds were isolated from aqueous extract of sini-Tang. Through chemical and spectral analysis the structures of twenty-three compounds were elucidated, including fifteen flavonoids, two triterpenes, two coumarins, one pyrimidine and three other typical compounds. Among them, a new dihydroflavone glycoside was isolated: 6"-O-α-hydroxylpropionyl liquiritin. This compound existed in sini-Tang and Glycyrrhiza uralensis in the form of epimer. This conclusion was confirmed by 1HNMR, 13CNMR spectrum and HPLC-MS/MS coupling technique. The standard curves of twenty compounds were protracted and seventeen compounds contents were determined by HPLC method; the contents difference of thirteen compounds between single drug and sini-Tang was compared. Through comparing the chromatogram, we discussed the contribution of every single drug to sini-Tang. By using HPLC-MS/MS and LC-DAD-UV coupling technique, the origin of the isolated compounds were determined and some unknown compounds in...
