Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed malignant tumor in western countries,which is a leading cause of cancer deaths and second only to lung cancer on morbidity .In our country ,the morbility of prostatic carcer increases obviously .It's reported to be on the third place of malignant tumors of urinary system ,and when the patients come to the clinics, the tumor has developed to the advanced stage in 2/3 of them,so the combined therapy by androgen blocking therapy would be the only choice. Most of the patients have lost the opportunity of operation when discovered because the carcinoma is latent. Therefore, it is necessary to explore new therapies. The endocrine therapy is one of the most commonly used therapies for the treatment of prostate cancer. It inhibits the androgen-inducing proliferation of carcinoma cells by blocking the androgen receptor. But many adverse reactions happen on these patients after treatment, finally most of them may transform to androgen independent prostate cancer , and the total effect is not satisfactory .The researches on these patients has been one of the clinical focuses.Calmodulin is a modulator with many physiologic functions and plays a critical role in the growth and proliferation of a wide variety of cells.
