The development of McAb technology has allowed secretion of specific antibodies against various virus antigens. The use of McAb to provent against viral diseases in animal models has provided a new approch to antiviral therapy and diagnosis. On the other hand, the xenogenic antibodies are highly immunogenic in human, the use of murine McAb for human therapy is limited .The discovery that single domain antibodies have adequate specificity has allowed us to produce the therapeutic antibodies and there "d Abs" may well avoid the xenogeny of murine McAb.The epidemic of HFRSV has threatened human life in China for many years and there are no efficient way to treat it up to now.A 3G1 McAb secreted from a murine hybridoma cells had been characterized to be a high neutralization and protection McAb in vivo and in vitro against HFRSV hemagglutinin(HA).In this report, we discribe the cloning, expression of a single domain antibody of 3G1 VH gene in E.Coli and it may contribute a potential applications in patients with HFRSV infection.
