Background:Pancreatic cancer belongs to very malignant neoplasm. Its incidence in western developed country is 8-10/100000.It is the fourth or fifth leading cause of cancer-related death. In our country, the incidence of pancreatic cancer is increasing continuously. Its incidence equals its mortality approximately. The overall 5-year survival rate is less than 5%,so its prognosis is very poor. Making deep research of mechanism of pancreatic cancer is a very important step to improve this situation. In recent years, basing on the molecular biology to be used widely, there is many new discoverys of this disease in the level of gene and molecule. These new discoverys can be classified to three aspects. They are the abnormality of growth factors and their pathways, amplification of oncogene and mutations or deletions of TSG .The abnormality of TGF-β signalling pathways is a important factor in the mechanism of pancreatic cancer. Many researchs have implicated the mutations or deletions of Smad4.There are few of articles on the change of Smad6 and Smad7 in this disease and their results are inconsistant. No articles on the aspect have been found in our country. Purpose:1.Establish reaction system and procedures of RT-PCR and Northern blot semiquantitative analysis to detect the expression of Smad4,Smad6 and...
