Objective: To analysis influence of abnormal sublingual collaterals with primary hepatic carcinoma, to evaluate its clinical value on and to investigate its molecular mechanism. method: Some associated factors inducing abnormal sublingual collaterals were analysis by multiple factor Logistic regression analysis. Principal component analysis was utilized to analysis features of them. On the basis of influencing factor of abnormal sublingual collaterals to build animal model, investigate its molecular mechanism. Result: Portal hemodynamics, smoking and clinical stage of oncoma may be the main influential factors inducing Abnormal sublingual collaterals. Variances of principal constituent 1 (length, breadth, phanerosis type of sublingual collaterals) were shown to be correlated with portal venous diameter. The microvessel density (MVD) of them was higher in portal hypertension rats.VEGF, VEGFR2, p53 overexpression of the sublingual collaterals can be seen. Conclusion: Abnormal sublingual collaterals can be considered an important physical sign for primary hepatic carcinoma. It can be predicted the diagnosis of portal hypertension. Proliferation and apoptosis in vascular endothelial cell may play a role in the formation of abnormal sublingual collaterals.
