Genealogy is a set of records, which are related to members of the family lineage and life such as family history of literature. The author should try hard to make a comprehensive and objective analysis on the genealogy of Jiangsu province during the period of Republic of China to learn the development venation, development status and the law of development of the genealogy during this term, so as to provide reference for writing modern genealogy, making the old literature a new vitality.The innovation of this paper is that it is the first time to make the systematic and comprehensive study for the genealogy of Jiangsu province.
