Study On Recreational Resources Valuation Of Ecotourism Area Of Shaanxi Province

Neither blindly nor excessively exploitation of tourism resources leads to a bad environmental impact, which has the root cause with not enough understanding of the true recreational resources value of the ecotourism area. Ecotourism of Shaanxi Province is a microcosm of its national industry, which not only reflects the general law of the development of ecological tourism industry, but also reflects the regional particularity. Study on recreational resources valuation of ecotourism area of Shaanxi Province, is helpful to the sustainable development of local tourism industry, also provides experience and reference to the national ecotourism development. Therefore, it is necessary to take the practical case as examples to evaluate recreational resources value of ecotourism area of Shaanxi province, ensure the full utilization of rich ecological tourism resources in the province to provide quality tourism services for all the people, and at the same time, promoting the coordinated development of the local economy, ecology and society. Also, it can solve the problems of destruction of tourism resources in the development process of tourism product or project due to the neglect or underestimate the value of tourism resources, so as to ensure the sustainable development of ecological tourism resources.In addition, in view of the limitations of current resource value accounting methods, make the discussion on the value assessment theory and method in the evaluation process and try to make some innovations, which may get more objective and correct assessment results of the recreational resources value, and enrich the current research field.Conclusions of the study are as follows:Firstly, on the basis of the related evaluation theory to the recreation resources of ecotourism area, this study proposes the theory of Marshall consumer surplus and Hicks consumer surplus, then put forward respectively improved TCM model as revealed preference and CVM model as the stated preference method. The combination of the two methods will be effective to assess the valuation of the recreational resources of ecotourism area.Secondly, in view of the travel cost method itself as a subjective estimation way, there are few literatures considered and produced the endogeneity problem of travel cost, this study primarily divides endogenous cost into elasticity costs and the necessary expenses. Use the TCM with simultaneous equations model, the more objective and accurate evaluation results can be got.Thirdly, since the problem of endogeneity exists, the recreational resources valuation results of Taibai Mountain National Forest Park used the traditional TCM method which is called TCIA method are biased, and the assessment result are more accurate and effective under TCM method with simultaneous equations model. Combined of the TCM with simultaneous equations model and CVM methods, the whole recreational value of Taibai Mountain National Forest Park is between 106931097-115422409 billion RMB. In which, the use value based on the model of improved TCM is between 97626236- 106117548 RMB, and the non use value calculated by improved CVM is 9304861 yuan. Obviously, the non use vale is much lower than the use value. only accounts for its 8.77%-9.53%. It also can be seen, the variable as education and tourist satisfaction degree index of Taibai Mountain National Forest Park of tourist to natural resources public health facilities, scenic, traffic have significant influence on its willingness to pay for resource protection.Fourthly, the introduction of simultaneous equations model in TCM method solves the problem of endogeneity may exist in the valuation estimation of Huashan scenic area. It can be got, the consumer surplus is about 725 yuan, and the total consumer surplus of about 14-23 billion yuan, which are significantly lower than the Poisson estimation results, also far lower than the similar research estimates. The non use value of 82003575.92 yuan, accounting for only 3.39%-5.31% of the overall recreation resource value, and only 3.51%-5.60% of its use value, which implies the non use value is far lower than the use value.Fifthly, compared the valuation assessment of the two areas of Huashan scenic area and the Taibai National Forest Park with multi angle, it can be found that the two methods of TCM and CVM have their respective advantages and disadvantages, the combination of the two can evaluate the valuation results of environmental resource more effective and reliable; in both of the two areas, the non use value is far lower than the use value in use, the basic reason is that the tourist did not pay attention to the ecological tourism of natural resources; extend scenic popularity and rich the understanding channels of tourists is an important way to improve the value of recreational resources of ecotourism area; promote the development of tourism resources way from extensive way to intensive, and enrich the the spiritual and cultural meaning to the ecotourism area, is an important means to increase tourists.Sixthly, through the comparative analysis of tourism management system at home and abroad, combined with the former research results about the non use value of influence factor, this study puts forward the path to improve the value of recreational resources of ecotourism area in Shaanxi Province, but also provides policy implications for the development of the national tourism industry.
