With the continuous economic development, environmental issues have became more and more significant important factors in human development。Ecological environment has began to be valued by humans. Erhai Lake is the Yunnan province’s second-largest freshwater lake. It is currently very popular tourist destination. Erhai Lake is very important to the local people with a high value of ecological functions and services. In this paper, we studied recreational value of Erhai Lake, we using a valuation method at the same time.in the article,we introduced concrete steps valuation methods and measures; take the form of questionnaires, face to face, network survey, for Erhai Lake residents finding mission, to maximize the value of residents’ willingness to pay (WTP).In this paper, a total of330questionnaires distributed, which received a total of323valid questionnaires, of which266are willing to pay the questionnaire,57questionnaires refused to pay. Through the statistical analysis, where in the average willingness to pay per person per year is about170yuan, and ultimately determine the value of recreation in mind Erhai Lake Basin residents of about3.83~6.51x107yuan. Social factors, income level, education level, age, presence or absence of Erhai other factors influence their willingness to pay for more significant impact. And the WTP positively correlated, with education, income level and the degree of influence rising willingness to pay will increase.Ultimately, the results of the questionnaire paper proposes to strengthen the construction of infrastructure for the resort, the relevant policy recommendations to improve water quality, and reasonable development.
