Evaluation Studies On Sustainable Livelihood Ability Of Rural Household In China

China is a traditional agricultural country. The problem of "three agriculture" is related to the country’s economic development, social stability and national rejuvenation. According to the actual situation of our country&the existing academic research, it is particularly important to improve the resources ownership and income equality. It is also important to optimize the rural household strategies and coordinate the development of urban and rural area.Basing on the actual situation in rural China and the principles of scientific, comparable, etc. It builds a rural livelihood sustainability evaluation index system in two levels of resource ownership and income equality. On the basis of the evaluation system, it utilizes the factor score model and the Gini coefficient to analyze the whole present situation and the livelihood sustainable ability of rural household in different regions. That shows the development process of sustainable livelihood ability of rural household. Recently, the resources ownership of rural household have been improved significantly and rural income distribution is in relative fair condition. However, the income gap between rich and poor has a tendency to expand in different regions.In the level of resources ownership, it selects fifteen factors of ecology, economy, education and hygiene. It uses quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the main influencing factors of the causes of difference. Basing on the analysis, it adopts the positive and negative factors. In the level of income equality, using subentry income matrix method, it calculates the regional concentration index and Gini Coefficient. Then we analyzes the positive&negative factors by the method of quantitative classification.It divides the levels of development according to resources ownership of livelihood in the level of resources ownership. It shows the situation in rural China is in the intermediate stage of sustainable rural livelihood and its livelihood resources belong to "maintain" status. The sustainable livelihood ability is in "maintain" state in the period ahead. In the future, it will be in "rich trend". And in the level of income equality, sustainable livelihood ability of rural household will be in fairer environment. With the development of economy, livelihood fairness may tend to be unfair and sound the alarm to us.Therefore, the study puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to improve the development of rural sustainable livelihood ability in China.Overall, it builds sustainable livelihood ability evaluation system and uses multiple perspectives to look at the sustainable problems of livelihood. It enriches the research methods and contents of rural sustainable development in China. It contributes to optimizing the configuration of living resources, improving the efficiency of resources allocation. And it explores the effective ways to improve rural sustainable livelihood ability.
