Under the background of economic globalization, regional developments are involved in the process of production and comsumption activities restructuring much more deeply. As an unique form of industrial organization, enterprise clusters effectively enhance the resource integration ability and promote the rapid development of regional economy. However, with the Chinese economic transition coming, lots of enterprise clusters have been decreased or transferred to the central and western China with large scale in many places. Under this circumstance, how enterprise clusters use the resource advantage, spatial characteristics and other condition to promote upgrading and sustain development are becoming an important realisitic problem of our regional economy construction. In previous research, many scholars have made intensive research on the governance mode, organization form and other clusters’ characteristics, meanwhile, many interdisciplinary theory were suceessively introduced to explain the reason for the growth of enterprise clusters, such as organizational ecology theory, the complex adaptive theory and so on. More recent research have been focused on the clusters network properties and the interaction with the outside, especially some research have been payed great attention on the impaction from the behavioral agent which across the industries and regions. Therefore, this paper will further expand the research boundaries of enterprise clusters, and it still will explore the mechanism of how spatial effects which consist of factors agglomeration, technology, knowledge spillover and other elements influence the enterprise clusters growth. This research focuses on the basic problem of how "factors agglomeration, spatial effects influence the enterprise growth". Specially, this paper will research on the following questions from shallow to deep. Firstly, how factors agglomeration influen the enterprise clusters growth? Secondly, how spatial effects which consist of factors agglomeration, technology spillover and surrounding enterprise clusters development condition influence the enterprise clusters growth? Thirdly, how spatial effects moderate the relationship between factors agglomeration and enterprise clusters growth? Fourthly, how transition inducements of factors agglomeration influence the enterprise clusters growth? This paper uses previous theoretical and empirical research. First of all, this article put forward the research hypotheses through literature study and logical dedection, and the theoretical framework will be constructed on the basic of these research hypotheses. Then, this paper choose the enterprise clusters samples from Zhejiang Province, many frontier and classic research method in economics management will be used to test the theoretical framework such as Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis, Spatial Econometric and Multiple Regression Model.Through the above research, some conclusions are discovered as follows:Firstly, factors agglomeration is the determining factor in relation to the enterprise clusters. The degree of factors agglomeration impacts on the enterprise clusters, and focus positively impacts on the enterprise clusters. At the same time, the transition of factors agglomeration’s structure within the enterprise clusters still have great influence on enterprise clusters, among them, the innovation-driven factors agglomeration’s structure have the greatest effect on enterprise clusters’growth, then for the technical-lead and resource-based factors agglomeration’s structure in turn. In the end, the degree of factors agglomeration around enterprise clusters shows positive spatial effect on the degree of factors agglomeration with the enterprise clusters. The local factors agglomeration and its surrounding’s within the enterprise clusters tend to evolve to bivariate distribution situation of "High-High" or "Low-Low" agglomeration under the battle among multiple spatial effects, and then influence on the enterprise clusters.Secondly, spatial effects have great influence on enterprise clusters development. The development situation of local enterprise clusters and its surrounding’s have obvious spatial convergence, in other words, surrounding area enterprise clusters development capability show positive effect on the local enterprise clusters development capability. On the other aspect, the spatial effects which consist of technology, knowledge and information spillovers will effectively accelerate enterprise clusters development capability, meanwhile, the absorbing ability play an important role during this process.Thirdly, spatial effects significantly moderate the relationship between factors agglomeration and enterprise clusters development capability. When surrounding with strong spatial effects, the relationship between factors agglomeration and enterprise clusters development capability will be amplified, when surrounding with weak spatial effects, the relationship between factors agglomeration and enterprise clusters development capability will be crippled.Fourthly, the transition inducements of factors agglomeration finally change the enterprise clusters development capability through alter its factors agglomeration condition. The core enterprise group, technical change, economic milieu, openness degree, policy effects and factors agglomeration spatial correlation have the significant positive effect on local enterprise clusters’factor agglomeration. Meanwhile, they always lead the changing of the factors agglomeration structure, and then determine the develop track of enterprise clusters.Based on the above research, the results deepen our understanding of the basic problem of "factors agglomeration, spatial effects influence the enterprise growth", and this paper have made a tiny contribute to the theory development and further research. On the one hand, this paper research on enterprise clusters growth from the perspective of space, it further expand the research boundary of the development of enterprise clusters, meanwhile, it still add a new way of thining enterprise clusters which embedded with geographical features. Not only does the study expound the spatial effects generated by the factors agglomeration have influence on the enterprise clusters growth, but also expound the spatial effects generated by technical, knowledge, information spillovers have influence on the enterprise clusters growth, the paper also analyze the moderating effects of spatial effects on the relationship between factors agglomeration and enterprise clusters, it is conducive to a deeper and systematically understanding on the mechanism of relationship between the spatial effects and enterprise clusters development from the multiple perspective. Last, it also make positive contribute to the perfect the cluster development theory. On the other hand, this paper tries cross using statistical analysis and exploratory spatial data analysis to make the spatial effects quantification and visualization, so the spatial effects is no long as untouchable and intangible as many scholars recognized. This method will provide valuable reference for the further research on the spatial effects series.
