Nowadays the development of enterprises must depend on science and technology innovation, their demand for knowledge and knowledge management is becoming more and more urgent. For complex product development enterprises, due to the inherent complexity of complex products, their work relates to lots of different fields of knowledge, different knowledge structures and different people. How to help enterprises to find suitable approaches for knowledge management, knowledge reuse and integrating them in the business process is an urgent research need. Especially in the enterprises of military large complex products in aviation, aerospace etc. knowledge management and reuse encounter the following concrete problems:① Non-integrity description of historical data frustrates the knowledge reuse;②The internal relations and evolutionary process of knowledge lacks management;③Amounts of knowledge accumulation and limited knowledge reuse phenomenon is serious;④Heterogeneous data leads to knowledge-sharing barriers.Based on these challenges this paper is designed to apply the knowledge network construction and integration to the R&D process of complex products, integrating theoretical methods, enterprises’policy standards and practices into the whole research.The first chapter provides an overview for the development of knowledge management, knowledge engineering and knowledge network theory in the academic and engineering application. After an analysis of the shortcomings in the meta knowledge construction and knowledge integration in complex product design of previous researches, the significance of the research in this paper is discussed. The details of the framework of this paper are described in the later section.The second chapter introduces the basic principles and architecture of enterprise knowledge network, proposes the establishment of orderly system framework of enterprise knowledge network and briefly elaborates the key technologies and their inter-relationships of the framework.The third chapter introduces the knowledge item metadata model and multidimensional knowledge network dynamic system model, proposes multi face description of knowledge items, shows the relationship between knowledge items in knowledge network and analyzes their hierarchy and dynamic. When describing the product life cycle, we proposes the standard methods and process of constructing domain ontology, and on this basis talk about the calculating process and method of ontology term mapping for knowledge item.The forth chapter proposes explicit knowledge acquisition mechanisms based on knowledge service middleware and tacit knowledge acquisition method based on considerations about combination of human wih tools. Regarding the disordered state of enterprise knowledge management, this chapter proposes the ordering method of knowledge network using public daily behavior records as evaluation standards and talks about the calculating process and method of knowledge ranking.The fifth chapter introduces the description method of knowledge network integration oriented complex product design process model, constructs the R&D process task context node model, proposes the knowledge integration adaptation mechanism, describes related methods and process in detail and implements the application adaptation method of basic engineering knowledge item and software tool knowledge’s integration.The last chapter describes the developing process of knowledge network integration application system for an aircraft research process, in order to meet the requirement of knowledge management and integration in collaborative working envelopment for a certain aircraft institute. Furthermore, this chapter introduces the practical application of the aircraft R&D process to verify the effectiveness and the engineering practice of this paper’s research theories and methods.
