From the middle of the20th century, in front of fast advancing technologies and growing world economy, a series of negative problems, such as excessively increasing population, resource shortage, and environmental degradation. Various countries in the world, especially the developing countries, pay attention to and are worried about the increasingly severe conflicts between human society’s sustainable development and natural resources and environment. Thus, the proposals and activities about social responsibility win vast support and approval of the world. Along with constantly deepening reforming and opening up, Chinese economic development is quick. However, due to high energy consumption, severe environmental pollution, and poor ecology, some regions’resources environment carrying capacity reaches their limit, resulting in a great challenge for sustainable development and harmonious society construction. The conflict between corporate development and social public benefit makes corporate social responsibility increasingly be the focus of national people. The Party’s Third Plenary Session of the18th Central Committee made the resolution that the corporations shall undertake social responsibility and promoted the corporate social responsibly to the level of national strategy.Being China’s pillar industry, the prosperity of oil corporations has the important meaning for the promotion of economic development, guarantee of national energy safety, and improving of people’s living standard. As the important part of corporate social responsibility, oil corporations’social responsibility construction has many shortages and weaknesses when obtains glory achievements. It is necessary to further improve the emphasis degree and practice effect. Certainly, both objective reasons and subjective factors cause these shortages. Currently, there are many studies on social responsibility in the theoretical circles and business circles. Nevertheless, relevant theoretic study on oil corporations’social responsibility is not sufficient and the combination of theory and practice is not close. Taking the dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’social responsibility as the research object, based on previous study, combining with multidisciplinary knowledge with theories of management, economics, and statistics, by means of various methods including document analysis method, combination of qualitative research and quantitative research, combination of normative research and empirical analysis, and survey research, a discussion on content, elements, model, and implementation path of dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’social responsibility is carried out to systematically present the dynamic mechanism theory of oil corporations’social responsibility, which is of certain theoretical and realistic meaning.Main content of the paper:Firstly, from the common acknowledge of corporate social responsibility, combining with the features of Oil Corporation, the concept of oil corporations’social responsibility is proposed and corresponding connotation and denotation is expounded. Through the discussion on the relationship between oil corporations’social responsibility and corporate social responsibility, the main contents and features of oil corporations’social responsibility are summarized from three aspects including society, country, and corporations. In the end, current situation, problems, and other reasons of oil corporations’ social responsibility are analyzed. In addition, through the empirical research, the result that oil corporations undertaking social responsibility will have better economic benefits of current and long-term is presented.Secondly, based on the defined connotation of dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’ social responsibility,18basic elements in the dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’social responsibility are analyzed from three aspects including society, government, and corporations. In addition, the external dynamic mechanism is analyzed from four aspects, governmental intervention, social supervision and market pressure; the internal dynamic mechanism is analyzed from two aspects, economic motivations and moral motivations.Thirdly, the dynamic mechanism model of oil corporations’ social responsibility is established. Based on18basic elements influencing the dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’ social responsibility, the questionnaire is designed. Based on the investigation result, by means of dimensionality reduction,6main elements of dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’ social responsibility are concluded. On the basis of the6elements, the systematic dynamic model of oil corporations’ social responsibility is built up, and the supervision on the model operation is conducted.Fourthly, the evolved game theory is used to analyze the behavior of oil corporations’ social responsibility subject, study the dynamic relationship among oil corporations, government, and society, construct the evolved game model among oil corporations, government, and society, analyze the copied dynamic equation of oil corporations, governmental management, and social supervision, and discuss the stability. Finally, the optimal model that the government chooses the management strategy, the oil corporations choose to perform social responsibility strategy, and the society chooses the supervision strategy is the evolved stable strategy.Fifthly, the implementation path for the dynamic mechanism of oil corporations’social responsibility is proposed from three aspects including the government, oil corporations, and society, which is of great practicability. A preliminary study on recent public welfare reform in oil corporations is conducted, in which the construction of public welfare oil corporations is regarded as the vision of social responsibility dynamic mechanism construction.
