Industrial cluster structure involves three aspects such as industrial linkage structure,regional distribution structure and enterprises (Institutions) organizational structure. Among them industrial linkage structure is the core and foundation of the formation of the cluster structure. Based on industrial linkage structure, The related research can be further extended to enterprises (Institutions) organizational structure and regional distribution structure. Therefore, this paper uses input-output data to study industrial cluster structure on the industrial linkage level. Some important special structures among cluster elements is the key content of linkage structure of industrial clusters and the relevant research is of great significance. However, there are few research achievements in this field, especially the quantitative ones.From the perspective of the internal linkage structure of industrial cluster, the industrial cluster structure also changes correspondingly with its development to a certain stage. For example, the emergence of a new phenomenon such as industry heterogeneity, asymmetry among industrial linkage internal structure.These heterogeneous enterprise (enterprise level) or the core industry (industry level), generally occupies the key nodes location of cluster network and has an important impact on the development of other SMEs(small and medium enterprises) or related industries, as well as the entire cluster;Simultaneously, the distribution of the industry linkages and its linkage structure of the cluster is not uniform,and there are some closely associated structures with a large number of linkages to become a hub of the industrial cluster network,then to form a strong "stickiness" and "stability" and internal "asymmetry" of the industrial clusters.That is a kind of important relationship structure with strong correlation density. The core or hub network formed by the core industry and the important linkage structure related tothe core industry is called the core structure of industrial clusters.According to the view of systems theory "Factor-Structure-Function", there must be an intrinsic core linkage structurein the industrial cluster system which influences or determines the overall functional characteristics of cluster network.In other words,the corestructure of industrial clusters often determines the functional characteristics of the cluster.From the network perspective, the industry cluster is is actually a certain type ofindustry network.The core of iindustrial cluster is regarded as a sub-network with specific property of industrial network.And consequentlywe can get the core structure of industrial clusters by identifying thesub-network on industrial network.Firstly, Based on industrial network theory, from the perspective of product linkage, this paper describes the industrial cluster as a network among sectors, and proposes a special structure of industrial cluster, that is, the core structure of industrial cluster. Then puts forward a quantitative index system of core structure of industrial cluster, including the aggregation coefficient, radiation factor and centrality coefficient etc..The practical calculation example shows that the index system can describe the characteristics of industrial cluster in different regions, reflect the differences in competitiveness among regions and is an effective method for interpreting competitiveness using industrial cluster core structure.Secondly, Based on input-output (i-o) data, this paper used the 42 industries of thirty provinces (except Tibet) in mainland China as research subjects to construct the industrial network model. In order to realize the unification process of deconstruction and industrial network, we adopted the K-cores network decomposition method to further study the spatial distribution and time evolution of industrial structural convergence by means of the study of interdependence, mutual restriction of the technical and economic ties among the industries in multi-provinces. Because the industrial network model reflected the network relationship between industries, we further extracted the characteristic sub-graph of k-cores, making it easy to study the evolution and spatial distribution of industrial structural convergence of the provinces in China from the perspective of the k-cores application on industrial network model.Thirdly,The structural differences of the economic development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei are quantified and explained from the level of industrial correlation structure based on regional input-output data in this paper. According to the industrial network theory and its k-core method, a new core-shell dual structure of industrial network is defined. And its description and measurement method of agglomeration effect and radiation effect is further presented. The core-shell heterogeneity and its effect on industrial network is used to describe and compare the industrial structural differences of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei from the two aspects of both the industrial correlation structure and industrial association strength.Finally,According to the shortcoming of the current k-core structure theory of industrial cluster that stresses more on the undirected network application, the definition of directed core structure of industrial cluster is proposed based on the backward linkage core of a right of priority from the perspective of supply-led and demand-driven considering both the forward and backward linkage of industrial network according to the industrial network theory. We present some concepts and indicators of aggregation effect of the directed core structure and the radiation effect from the directed core to shell structure, study and characterize the internal structure of industrial cluster from the two aspects of both the linkage structure level and linkage strength level. Finally, an empirical and comparative analysis is studied on "Lu Su Yue" from the directed core structure of industrial cluster, some sources of regional competitiveness are explained from the internal structure of industrial cluster.The main innovations of this paper are reflected in the following aspects:(1)On the basis of the industrial network model, from the perspective of product linkage, this paper describes the industrial cluster as a network among sectors, and proposes a special structure of industrial cluster, that is, the core structure of industrial cluster. Then puts forward a quantitative index system of core structure of industrial cluster, and describes the industrial cluster’s structural characteristics of the different regions, finally solves the computability of core structure of industrial cluster on aggregation coefficient,radiation factor,centrality and other indicators.(2)The core-shelldual structure of industrial clusters is defined from the perspective of industrial network and then the homogeneity and heterogeneity of the regional industry linkage structure are analyzed.First,because the convergence of core industries in core-shelldual structureis a necessary prerequisite for structural convergence, distinguished from simple measure of industry convergence approach from strength index heretofore,core industries of this indicator of network structure are used to analyze China’s provincial industrial industry convergence evolution and spatial patterns from the perspective of industrial network structure.Second, the core-shelldual structure’s description and measurement method of agglomeration effect and radiation effect is further presented.The structural difference of "Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei"regional industry development is compared by quantifying the heterogeneity of the core-shell dual structure.(3)According to industrial network theory, the definition of directed core structure of industrial cluster is proposed based on the backward linkage core of a right of priority from the perspective of supply-led and demand-driven considering both the forward and backward linkage of industrial network. We present some concepts and indicators of aggregation effect of the directed core structure and the radiation effect from the directed core-shell structure,and thenachieve the quantitative measure of directed core features of industrial clusters structure.
