The minimum wage system is a powerful tool to adjust labor supply and demand government intervention and constraint labor market, but also the government guarantee social justice and narrow the gap between rich and poor, one of the basic means, and also guarantee a smooth and harmonious economic and social development of an important prerequisite.From 1993 began implementing the "Minimum Wage Regulations", China’s minimum wage system was proposed more than 20 years of history, although some achievements in the protection of workers’ basic rights, but the result was unsatisfactory implementation. Since the reform and opening up of China’s economy has made great progress, economic output is listed second in the world, people’s living standards have greatly improved general.But at the same time our country so far, there are still more than 10 million people into poverty and a large number of low-income groups, labor market regulations are not perfect, there are still many problems in the protection of the basic rights of workers. This article is in this context a comparative study on the minimum wage system and foreign, aims to identify the gap between us, learn from the advanced experience of foreign countries, in order to further improve the country’s minimum wage system, to play a better role, put forward a viable path and recommendations. The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.
