Study On Coordinated Development Of Land Use System

Along with the growth of the population, and the expansion of the scale of economic and social development, as a resource, the land is become more and more scarce. So improve the efficiency of land use is becoming the important standards of achieving the sustainable utilization of land resources. But in the actual process of land use, people tend to pay more attention to the economic benefits and ignore the social and ecological benefits, which bring the negative influence of the larger, enhance the state of chaos of land use system. So in order to guarantee the sustainable utilization of land resources, we must from the economic, social and ecological aspects to improving the efficiency with the development of whole system throughout the process of land use. Land use system is a complex giant system, which have natural, economic and social components. It is the result of engaged in various production and living activities for human using land as the carrier and carries the function of social system. One hand, coordinated development of land use system is the basis and the necessary condition for sustainable utilization of land resources. On the other hand, as a measure of the organization and structure of the system and among the elements of subsystem, the coordination is an effective indicator to refelect the degree of sustainable utilization of land resources.Although the researches of coordinated development have achieved some results in many research areas, there is much need to be perfected. Firstly, the content, characteristics, factors and evolution mechanism of coordinated development was not researched in one framework systematically; Secondly, there was no unified thinking and methods to measure the coordinated development, and most of the researches follow a particular routine, which needs new ideas and methods urgently; Thirdly, the researches of coordinated development of land use system were carried out late, and the most of ideas and methods were learn from other field of study. In addition to these shortcomings listed above, the researches did not reflect their own characteristics, and pertinence of the researches is to be strengthened.Based on the previous studies and the related theories such as Complexity Theory, Self-organization Theory, Uncertainty Theory, the Theory of Man-land Relationship and Disequilibrium Theory, this research, which aims at the factors, evolution mechanism and trends, characterization of coordinated development of land use system, adopt research normal forms such as micro & macro analysis, qualitative & quantitative analysis etc., by using quantitative analysis, economics analysis and simulate of BP neural network comprehensively. Specifically, this paper concerns the mainly contents as following:(1) the factors and evolution mechanism of coordinated development of land use system. The land use system is the basis for coordinated development. After the research on content, features, structure and its function of land use system, and on the content, features of coordinated development, this paper make a depth research of the factors of the coordinated development of land use system for the purpose of laying the basis of the study, and of evolution mechanism and its trends. (2) Characterization of the coordination degree. As the coordination of land use system is the macroeconomic performance among subsystem and among the elements in subsystems, the research of characterization of the coordination degree must start from the elements of subsystems. So, based on the methods of literature analysis, experts consultation etc, the study re-screen the indicators by using the grey relational analysis between the elements and the entropy of land use structure, and characterize the coordination degree by using the efficacy function and the model of coordination. (3) Characterization of the coordinated development degree. The coordinated development degree is the combination of coordination and development, so the focus of this part of research is the characterization of development degree. The research steps are as follows:First, determine the ideal development of land use system, based on disequilibrium analysis and simulate of BP neural network, by making relative indicator as the characterization of the development degree. Second, calculate the development degree of land use system by determining the relationship between the actual and ideal value of development of land use system using uncertainty analysis. (4) Regulate the coordinated development of land use system. The purpose of the study is the regulation of the coordinated development. Based on the researches narrated above and laws of land use system, making the limiting factors of coordinated development of land use system as the object, this research regulate the process of land use, develop reasonable measures for the land use system by using the cybernetics. (5) Finally, this paper makes a case study in Henan province based on the theories and methods above.From the research above, some conclusions are drawn out as following:(1) The connotation of coordinated development of land use system, which has the characteristics of complexity, hierarchical and layered, dynamic, self-organization and hetero-organization, uncertainty, is more abundant.(2) The factors of coordinated development of land use system are divided into self-organization and hetero-organization. Factors, of self-organization contain climate, geology, geomorphology, biology, hydrology, soil and ecosystem composed by all elements above, are focus on the natural and inherent properties; Factors, of hetero-organization contain market, people, regulation and control measures composed by policy, legal and planning, are focus on the leading role of human in the process of land use.(3) The evolution of coordinated development has two contents, and the theory of phase space is suitable for explain the mechanism of evolution. Three-dimensional philosophy has the characteristics of structural, stability, complexity and nonlinear. The symmetry, balance, dependence and opposability among the subsystem determine the coordinated development path of land use system. The development of land use system is the accumulation and continues of the relationship among the subsystem in time and space. In a particular structure, the mode and efficiency of configuration of land resources have a decisive role in the development of land use system. The mutual influence, mutual promotion mutual restraint and exchange of material, energy and information from the external environment, these together constitute the framework for the evolution of coordinated development of land use system.(4) The characterization of coordinated development can also be divided into two aspects. Firstly, the coordination is not only reflected in the subsystem level, but also in the elements level of whole system. So, based on the re-screen of indicators by using the grey relational analysis between the elements and the entropy of land use structure, the research measure the contribution of indicators by using efficacy function, determine the weight of the indicators, in order to reflect the different levels of importance. On this basis, combined with weight of indicators among subsystem, the research using the model of deviation coefficient measure the coordination degree to make the result more reasonable and more accurately. Secondly, using the relative indicator to measure the development not only rich the meaning but also make the result more reasonably and comparable in unified framework of analysis. Based on the theoretical analysis above and the analysis of the impact of configuration of land resources to the land use system, this research use the BP neural network simulation method of land use system to determine the ideal value of development of system, combined with the result of disequilibrium analysis. On the basis, this research use the uncertainty analysis as the methord to measure the relationship between the actual value and ideal value, and then obtain the coordinated development degree combined with the coordination degree. The ideas and methods of research not only extend the study of coordinated development, played an effect of use the little to get the big, but also extend the application of complexity science in land subject.(5) The regulation of coordinated development of land use system is a floorboard, which contains the adjustment and the control method through the subject to object in some purpose. The goals of regulation include enhancing economic feasibility, the synchronization of social development, the ecological sustainability, the coordinated development of economic, social, ecological functions and the biggest ascension of the whole system function. Its method includes the means of market, administrative, legal and science and technology. Regulation is not a certain aspect role or the simple adding, but the organic union of several aspects. It could achieve ideal control target only through remedy and mirror by each other.(6) The empirical research shows that:First, the coordination degree of Henan province shows quickly rise-and stable development trend within the study period. The land economy subsystem has a relatively low level of development and degree of influence. The fluctuation of land ecological subsystem is the largest, and the degree of fluctuation of land social subsystem is between them. Second, the development degree of Henan province is above the medium level and moves modestly. The degrees of contribution of connection number to the movement of development degree are difference in different period. Third, the coordinated development degree of Henan province shows a rising trend overall, which variation affected by the coordination and the development at the same time. The relationship between them is present "barrel effect". According to the results of analysis, Henan should speed up the economic benefit of land use, improve the social benefit structure of land use, stable and improve the ecological benefits of land use, in order to achieve coordinated and sustainable development of land use system.
