| Apple is a kind of high value agricultural products and originated in China with long cultivated history. With the coming of information age, the " repository " of apple industry has become an important tool to ensure scientific and technological progress and to realize the innovation of science and technology. In order to carry out the deep use of resources, construction and integration of data is the foundation. The data of apple industry show the characteristics of universalism and specialization and lots of problems in the integration and sharing of data must be anylysised which contains sources of data, standardized description of data,construction of data system,conversion of heterogeneous data and discovery of semantic association between data and so on. To realize the data sharing and industry information service, analysis of scientific theory and modern information technology are the basic items. Basing on the completion of the construction of the apple industry data, the research also achieve the data integration and application demonstration to prove the result of data integration can provide one-stop service for the development of apple industry.Through the related research, following conclusions and results can be drawn:(1) Based on the analysis of characteristics of apple industry and the status of resource construction,the theoretical basis and key technology of the system are expounded, and the current situation of resource construction of apple industry in China and the method of data integration are defined. This work provides provides theoretical basis and support for this research.(2) The characteristics and sources of the apple industry data are in-depth studied and analyzed in this paper. Data composition of all kinds of data sources is made cleare as well as describing how to acquire and collect these data, especially for refining the database name and type of books.It may play an important role in guiding the construction of our country’s apple industry data.(3) Data classification was conducted based on the data analysis. Resources system of scientific data was established from the research perspective and divided into 8 categories, 28 second level categories. All kinds of data resources were described in detail. The construction of resource system is convenient for data classification and search, which can shorten the time of users and the cost of knowledge.Resource system is also the basis of data integration.(4) Integration of data architecture was designed on the basis of construction of resource system.It contains the construction of the database, cleaning and loading of data, organizing and association. Based on ETL, kettle as a tool was usedto achieve the heterogeneous resources. Through extracting data entities,we constructed the relationship between scientific data, the different resources are intermingled together, realize the systematization and integration of industrial data.(5) By analysising the necessity of data integration in applying,application demonstration of the integration of data was showing, including data retrieval, knowledge service, industrial layout, cultivar structure, distribution of germplasm resources, occurrence and distribution of plant diseases and pests, expert consultation and so on.The applications demonstrates how data integration provides comprehensive service for apple industry and provide support and resources guarantee for apple industry.It also solves the difficulties in searching data from multiple channels and seeking different types of services in the process of practice...
