In this dissertation, custom wardrobe of cabinet furniture was taken as an object for study.Component-swapping modular design method", solid wood pieces, three-dimensional platedecoration" approach and "fosteirng strengths and circumventing weaknesses" concept wereapplied,which retained advantages of panel furniture "32mm system",and fully elaboratedcharacteirstics of good performance of shape and decoration of the wood patrs, to combine massproduction of the carcass with customization of the rfontage. A modular proposal of compositewardrobe between panel and solid wood for mass customization was built, including modulelibrary, module encoding system and module configuration rule, to facilitate the smoothimplementation of mass customization for enterprises. Its main results and conclusions are asfollows:1)Module library of composite wardrobe between panel and solid wood was built, combiningsimple structure and eiffcient production of panel funriture with good performance of shape anddecoration of the wood parts.2)The mathematical model of "sequence type" scale configuration was built'. Its as follows.|Hk-Hi|min=Hk-{Hj, H2,…,Hi,…,Hn)|minIf丨Hk-Hi|min <C,Hi is the size value which meets the requirements.If丨Hk-Hi|min≧C, which means the module in module library does not meet therequirements.3) The mathematical model of "double-combination type" scale conifguration was constructed.It's as follows.IfWk%Ws<WD,x=0,y=Wk\Ws. However, if (WDWk%Ws)≤C, the desirability ofx=l,y=Wk\Ws should be discussed with the client.IfWk%Ws≥WD,x=l,y=Wk\Ws. However, if (Ws-Wk%Ws)≤C, the desirability ofx=0?y=Wk\Ws+1should be discussed with the client.4)The door with "single-door symmetircal',decorative pattern is preferred, which increases theflexibility of wardrobe with modular design. The door and decorative module with "up-downsymmetrical" decorative pattern let two doors and decorative modules with symmetrical structurebe interchangeable, which reduces the number of modules.5)Hole diameter and depth of structural holes and system holes in side panel are exactly thesame, which let interfaces of fastening connection and movable connection be interchangeable toincrease the organization flexibility of the cabinet inteiror space.6)A set of module encoding rules and methods for composite wardrobe was formatted, whichalso applies to other cabinet furniture products. 7) The method of rule-based conifguration knowledge expression was built,includingconifguration matrix between monad and monad, conifguration matirx between monad andmodule, conifguration matirx between module and module.
