Natural Gas Processing Systems Technology Simulation Analysis

From the viewpoint of system engineering, natural gas processing system was complex which consists of subsystems connecting and influencing with each other. The physical chemistry property and flow property of natural gas processed in the factory would vary with the exploitation of gas field and the processing of natural gas was a dynamic course in time and space. For natural gas processing system existed, the technics flow and construction was invariable, the capacity of unites and equipments was definite, which have been made certain when system was designed. After many years of production, the intensity of equipments would vary because of erosion, abrasion and other reasons. Accordingly, equipments would not match the production when material changed. Under ' s background, the working condition of system needed to be realized, the adjustment and reconstruction of system were needed to match the production. The simulation of natural gas processing system was one of the most important means.The purpose of simulation on natural gas processing system was to solve the mathmodel describing the whole natural gas processing system and to obtain the informationabout the processing, including the processing capability, the recovery ratio of lighterhydrocarbon, and so on. As to different exploitation period of natural-gas field, with the(?)ty of the basic properties of natural gas and the operation parameters of equipments,the integrated processing capability can be worked out and the operation parameters of(?)pments can be correctly adjusted and even the reconstruction scheme can be developedwhen some equipments and instrument did not match with the production.According to the researching routes from equipment to unit and from unit to system, researching works included in this paper were as following.1) Basic thermodynamics study on natural gas processing system;2) The study on equipments included in natural gas processing system;3) The study on the simulation methods of natural gas processing system;4) Developing system software;5) The applications and suggestions;In this study, the method of process simulation was applied into natural gas processing system and software for the simulation of natural gas processing system was developed. The concept of technical limitation was put forward, which would vary with production of natural gas processing system.This technology and software were applied well in BOHAI JZ20-2 natural gas processing system. As to BOHAI JZ20-2 natural gas processing plant, the simulated flow diagram of units and system were built and the calculating sequence was, defined by loop matrix method. This study was representative and directive for the simulation of other natural gas processing systems.
