Synecology has the essential function to forest resources management.To understand and grasp the form of forest community, structure and distribution characteristic and analyze the interaction of them, supplying the scientific basis for scientific forest management, safeguard the variety species in forest community, the stability of the community, the recovery and protection of the forest vegetation also the improvement of the ecological environment, etc. Dividing the forest site type, comprehensive appraisal the quality of forest land are the bases to match species with the site, scientifically mange and afforest and predict productivity.This article adopts the standard investigation method to analyze and research the form, structure, distribution characteristic, community's regeneration and the productivity, etc. of Yuntai Mountain forest community. It has showed that Yuntai Mountain forest community has the characteristics as following:(1)Abundant forming of species, but dominant tree species or dominant species group is not obvious.(2)Various kinds of species combination, low probability of reappearing. (3)Few constant tree species, that means the low distribution equality of tree species in various kinds of sample plot.(4) Comparatively intact forest layer, the clear layer of the arbores, thicket and vert.(5)Obvious continuity of vegetation community's distribution and poor productivity of community.By utilizing the remote sensing technology, according to forest ecology, geologycal disciplinarian and remote sensing vision interpretation principle, taking site classification through setting up the interpretation indicate and applying the site index form in quantity and fuzzy mathematics synthetical judgement, the site quality evaluation to the classified boundaries has been given, the 16 types of site type forms have been drawn up. It is satisfied with the forest mangement inventory through a case validating. At the same time, it is classified into two soil kinds, the brown soil and seacoast salt soil by using the remote sensing technology to carry on the soil analyze to Yuntai Mountain area. The brown soil is classsified into four subdominant kinds, the Shengcao brown soil, raw bone brown soil, acidic brown soil, moist brown soil, the seacoast salt soil is classified into two subdominant soil kinds, primitive seacoast salt soil and moist soil.
