The Effects Of Clearing Liver-Heat And Antihypertensive Recipe On Myocardial Hypertrophy In SHR And Their Mechanism

Objective:To observe the effects of Clearing Liver-heat and Antihypertensive Recipe on myocardial hypertrophy in spontaneous hypertensive rat(SHR) and explore the mechanism. Methods:SHR were randomly divided into model group, low-dose group of TCM, high-dose group of TCM and western medicine group. We also use Wistar rats to set up control group. Following 4 weeks'intragastric administration, we observed the influence of Clearing Liver-heat and Antihypertensive Recipe on the blood pressure and LVMI of SHR,we also use HE staining, radioimmunoassay, nitrate reductase assay, RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry technique to detect the changes of morphology of cardiac myocytes; the concentrate of ET-1, Angâ…¡and NO in the blood, the expression of CaN,BNP and eNOS in myocardium. Results:After treatment for 4 weeks, Clearing Liver-heat and Antihypertensive Recipe can decrease the blood pressure and LVMI of SHR; reduce the content of ET-1, Angâ…¡in blood; down-regulate the expression of CaN and BNP in myocardium; up-regulate the expression of eNOS and increase the concentration of NO in serum. Conclusions:Clearing Liver-heat and Antihypertensive Recipe has the significant inhibitive effects of myocardial hypertrophy and the mechanism involves many factors,such as the changes of the concentration of ET-1, Angâ…¡and NO in the blood,and the changes of the expression of BNP, CaN,and eNOS in myocardium.
