Study On Treatment Based On Disease Differentiation Of Traditional Chinese Medicine By Analysis Of Prescription

Treatment based on Syndrome Differentiation (TSD) is the basic characteristic and the essence of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). However, with the continuous development of modern medicine and the deeping understanding of disease, some limitations of TSD have gradually emerged, in particular the lack of disease-specific and targeted medicine treatment makes the Same Treatment for Different Diseases(STDD) sometimes difficult to work. With the research progress of Chinese pharmacology and Chinese medicinal chemistry and with the knowledge of pathologyical changes of disease, prescriptions combined by the reference of efficiency of Chineses medicine are becoming more common. Study on how to understand the phenolmenon of Treatment based on Disease Differentiation (TDD) in clinical treatment of TCM correctly and how to use this method technically is of great academic significance and practical value to enrich the theory of TCM and improve the clinical efficacy of TCM.CONTENTSPrescriptions from the treatment of Asthma Disease, Urticaria, Allergic Rhinitis, Tuberculosis, Epilepsy, Dysmenorrhea, Erysipelas, Mumps, Chickenpox, Herpes Zoster in ancient and modern times.METHODGeneralizing and summarizing literature about TDD of TCM by computer technology. Frequency statistics, factor analysis and correspondednce analysis are used to data mining the prescriptions from the treatment of Asthma Disease, Urticaria, Allergic Rhinitis, Tuberculosis, Epilepsy, Dysmenorrhea, Erysipelas, Mumps, Chickenpox, Herpes Zoster. Discuss the differences and similarities of Chinese medicines in ancient and modern times. Discuss the characteristics of TDD of TCM from the side of main syndromes, stage of diseases and ages of patients. RESULTStudy indicates that the firsthand treatment of TCM was identifying disease.52 Bing Fang is the first book which includes the thought of TDD. The idea of TDD first germinated in Huangdi's Classics of Medicine, as well as other treatment of TCM, such as Six-Meridians Differentiation, Visceral Syndrome Differentiation, Defense-Qi-Nutrient-Blood Syndrome Differentiation, Triple-Energizer Syndrome Differentiation and Eight-Principles Syndrom Differentiation. The mode of Six Meridians Differentiation and Diseases Differentiation and treatment from Zhang Zhongjing was established and become the basic mode of TCM. Ancient TSD included the method of TDD. The gradual dissemination of western medicine in China made doctors of the school of Integration of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine (ITCWM) created the mode of diagnosis and treatment by the cooperation of TCM whith western medicine. With the help of developing technology, the Combination of Disease and Syndrome (TCDS) was formed based on the diagnosis from western medicine and the treatment from Syndrome Differentiation of TCM. It seems that this mode takes the advantages of two, actually it ignored the position and function of TDD of TCM.Study on the prescriptions from the treatment of 10 diseases and other literature indicates that there're always some traditional Chinese medicine used to cure a kind of disease; the traditional Chinese medicines are changing when the pathogenesis changes, or befor the pathogenesis will change,or changing with different period of disease, or changing by different patients, but basic medicines based on basic pathogenesis do not change; use the pharmacody knowledge on TSD.
