In this study, we first took camel milk, goat milk, human milk and milk as the research object.Adopting GC, FASS and HPLC methods, we analyzed mineral elements, vitamin C, vitamin E andthe fatty acids in camel milk, human milk, goat milk and milk, and a comparison between themwas made. Second, model of diabetic mellitus was established with high-fat diet method, westudied and evaluated the treatment of camel milk and camel milk combined rosiglitazone intype-diabetes in rats and its mechanism. Clinical experiments of twelve type-Ⅱ diabeticpatients carried out with camel milk and camel milk combined rosiglitazone. The result of thisstudy could give a basal support for developing the health products of adjunctive therapy fordiabetes, coronary artery disease, hypoimmunity and lack of trace element, such as calcium, Iron. And it will also provide experimental data for industrialized production. The experimental resultas follows:Calcium60.75±9.67μg/L, Magnesium631.88±67.23μg/L and Iron43.50±4.67μg/Lcontents in camel milk were highest than others milk, and it can be used as the main source ofthese main trace elements. Magnesium content in camel milk (84.67±7.87mg/L) is significantlyhigher than in milk and human milk. Copper content in camel milk (0.54±0.09mg/L) is higherthan milk, goat milk and human milk, which is conducive to decrease the ratio of Cu/Zn and willhelp reduce the complications of diabetes symptoms. There is great changes on vitamin C content in fresh camel milk and camel milk, the content ofvitamin C in fresh camel milk was significantly higher than in camel milk (40.03±13.2vs33.6±9.8, P <0.001); The content of vitamin C in fresh camel milk (40.03±13.2mg/L) weresignificantly higher than in fresh human milk, milk and goat milk; which in camel milk (33.60mg/L) is nearly four times higher than in milk, two times higher than in goat milk, while it is lowestin human milk. The contents of vitamin E in camel milk (126.9±26.2mg/L) and human milk(121.69±15.2mg/L)were similar. The content of vitamin E in camel milk was significantly higher than in the freshgoat milk (126.9±26.2vs86.4±10.2, P <0.001), and less than in fresh milk (126.9±26.2vs161.0±23.7, P <0.001). Vitamin E content (128.2±37.3mg/L) in fresh camel milk was higherthan in the fresh goat milk and similar to human milk. There are amounts middle and long-chain fatty in camel milk. The category of fatty acids isdifferent in the different milks. There are more fatty acids in goat milk and camel milk. The contents of unsaturated fatty acids in total fatty acids of camel milk was significant highest(65.02%) than milk40.76%, goat milk40.23%and human milk58.17%P<0.001respectively. Especially, the content of linolenic acid (18:3) in camel milk (5.09%) was alsohighest than in milk (0.36%), goat milk (0.34%), human milk (2.96%, P<0.001). Polyunsaturatedfatty acids have an effect of insulin sensitizer. Unsaturated fatty acids have similar mechanism ofaction of insulin activator, it can be used as the endogenous activator in nuclear receptor ofperoxisome proliferator-activated, so it can promote insulin secretion, and effectively regulateblood glucose. Camel milk can be used as not only important sources of conjugated linoleic acid, but also the prevention of diabetes and the role of adjuctive therapy for complications of diabetes(especially type Ⅱ diabetes).Model of diabetes mellitus was established with high-fat diet method, we studied and evaluatedthe treatment of camel milk and camel milk combined rosiglitazone in type-Ⅱ diabetes in rats.Rosiglitazone group, camel milk combined rosiglitazone group, camel milk treatment groups werewell controlled fasting blood glucose, insulin levels, lower blood triglycerides and total cholesterolblood levels. Camel milk combined with rosiglitazone group has better treatment of type2diabetes animal models than Rosiglitazone Maleates and camel milk groupBased on animal experiments, twelve type-Ⅱ diabetic patients have been performed clinicalexperiments, The consumption of camel milk in type2diabetes results in a significant reduction inthe dose of rosiglitazone Maleates required to maintain long-term glycemia control. The dose ofrosiglitazone maleate reduced from5±0.91mg/day to2.01±1.3mg/day (P <0.01) after10months treatment, while rosiglitazone daily given with camel milk can be more effective toimprove blood glucose and blood insulin levels. Camel milk can co-maleate rosiglitazonelowering blood sugar and regulate insulin levels.Camel milk not only has a high nutritional value, but also has a unique medical value, as healthcare products have great market potential and social benefits, production and sales prospects...
