The Phlegm Drop Cloud-based Treatment Of Clinical Research And The Mechanism Of The Deficiency Of The Spleen Stomach Syndrome

Object: To learn about the mechanism of phlegm formation, and highlight the relation between spleen-stomach and phlegm evil, via discussing the formation and development of phlegm syndrome theory. To observe the existence of phlegm evil in chronic spleen-stomach disease by treating spleen insufficiency type patient with method of "resolving phlegm and lowering chaotic".Method: 46 cases with spleen insufficiency entered the trial, which divided into group A and B randomly. There are 24 cases in group A 22 cases in group B respectively. Treatment: resolving phlegm lowering chaotic T.C.M. recipe (ErChen recipe plus arisaema with bile, grassleaved sweetflag rhizome) treatment for group A, and strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi T.C.M. recipe (ShenLingBaiZhu powder) treatment for group B. The recipe is taken for 2 weeks. Clinical curative effect is evaluated after treatment. Blood sample is taken before and after treatment for scrums gaslrin level, hemorheology, serums superoxide dismutase (SOD) and MAD, IgG, IgA, IgM and C3, C4 level.Result: clinical curative effect is obvious in both groups. The effective rate is 83.33% and 86.36% respectively, difference is not significant (P>0.05) .Serums gastrin level heighten significantly after treatment in both groups (P<0.05, P<0.0l ) , no significant difference between groups after treatment (P>0.05) .Whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity ratio fells and erythrocyte distortion index elevates in group A (PO.05, P<0.01) , significant compare to group B (P<0.05) . Superoxide dismutase heighten significantly after treatment in both groups (PO.01, PO.05) . MAD fells in group A (P<0.01) .Serums IgG, IgM, IgA, C3 and C4 level heighten significantly (p<0.05) after treatment, there is no significant difference between two groups.Conclusion: These results shows that resolving phlegm lowering chaotic treatment has the same clinical curative effect compare with strengthening the spleen and replenishing qi treatment in treating spleen insufficiency type chronic spleen-stomach disease. There is phlegm evil in patient of spleen insufficiency type chronic spleen-stomach disease, which is indicated with lowering gastrin, immunoglobulin, complement and superoxide dismutase level, heighten level of blood viscosity and MAD. The resolving phlegm lowering chaotic treatment could improveclinical symptoms of spleen insufficiency type chronic spleen-stomach disease, and improve various testing indicator. These indicates that there is pathogenic factors of accumulate phlegm evil in chronic spleen-stomach disease because of spleen insufficiency. It also demonstrates the universality, invisibility and levity of phlegm evil.
