So we bring forward an opinion that tonifying the kidney, promoting blood circulation and dissolving the phlegm are used for treatment of Alzheimer's disease.The central cholinergic nervous system is closely related with the study and memory. When people have aged, the neurons have degenerated, which including the dysfunction and death of the specific groups of neurons.The degeneration of cholinergic neurons is regarded as the important pathological factor for causing Alzheimer's disease. Therefore the emphasis of our research is the molecular mechanism of Bushen Huoxue Huatan Prescription in treating the dementia rats with cholinergic neurons injured.We used the model rats of Alzheimer's disease with the destruction of main nucleus mass-nucleus basalis of Meynert of cholinergic fiber by ibotenic acid, and contrasted them with the normal group, pseudooperation group and medicine, NaoFuKang group as control groups. Among them, the high dose treatment groups are superior to the low dosetreatment groups, and the treatment groups also superior to the control group of western medicine NaoFuKang.The experiment concentratedly study the influence of Bushen Huoxue Huatan Prescription from multilateral and multilager in treating the dementia rats whose cholinergic nerve cells are injured.The study has suggested that the deficiency of essence Qi of kidney and insufficiency of brain marrow and the blood stasis and phlegm located in brain is the fundmental pathogenesis of begin prostatic hyperplasia, thus we bring forward the referentially experimental basis for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
