Objective: According to the theory of'endogenous mechanism'and'reactivity mechanism',we set up the rat model of post cerebral hemorrhage depression, then observed the rat behavioral change in activity, interest and happiness , we also examined the brain of rat to find the change of single amine neural transmittal and the change of neural nutritious factors to discuss mechanism of the post cerebral hemorrhage depression. We consider post stroke depression due to deficiency in kidney and Qi stagnation, which introduce phlegm and blood stasis retention in meridians and brain can't be fostered. We treat post stroke depression rat with Chinese traditional medical YINAOJIEYU to discuss the function mechanism.Method: 1.According the Male Wistar rats Open-Field score we randomized allocated them in normal group, blood group, depression group and model group. The normal group was raised regularly; the hemorrhage group was injected collagenase in caudate-putamen nucleus to induce rat hemorrhage. The depression group was given for 21 days chronic unpredictable mild stress. The model was injected collagenase to induce hemorrhage and then given for 21 days chronic unpredictable mild stress. After the stress we observed the rat behavioral change in activity, interest and happiness, and observed the change of single amine nerval transmittal 5-HT, NE, TH and the change of neural nutritious factors BDNF, bFGF, GFAP in the brain of rat with immunohistochemistry method.2. The normal group was raised regularly, the model group, the comparison group and the control group were injected collagenase to induce hemorrhage and then given for 21 days chronic unpredictable mild stress. After the stress we irrigate the comparison group with Fluoxetine for 6weeks, irrigate the control group with YINAOJIEYU for 6 weeks, then we observed the rat behavioral change in activity, interest and happiness, and observed the change of single amine neural transmittal 5-HT, NE, TH and the change of neural nutritious factors BDNF, bFGF, GFAP in the brain of rat with immunohistochemistry method.Result: 1. Comparing with normal group, the consumption of sucrose solutions reduced in model group after 15 days of the chronic unpredictable mild stress and after 21 days of stress. There are significant differences (P< 0.01). The consumption of sucrose solutions reduced in depression group after 15 days of the chronic unpredictable mild stress (P<0.05) and reduced after 21 days (P<0.01).
