【Objective】To evaluate the protein expressions of chemokine-like factor super family member, CKLF1,CMTM1,CMTM2 and CMTM4, in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and corresponding adjacent normal lung tissue. And to evaluate the association between protein expressions and clinical features.【Methods】The tissue microarrays were made of 50 NSCLC and corresponding adjacent normal lung tissue specimens which had obtained by surgical procedures. The expression of the CKLF1,CMTM1,CMTM2 and CMTM4 protein were analyzed by immunohistochemistry technology. Then statistical processes were performed to evaluate the association between protein expressions and clinical features, such as gender, histology, differentiation and pathological stage .【Results】(1),The positive expression rate of CKLF1 protein was 12% in NSCLC tissue, and showing a high expression rate 100% in the adjacent normal lung tissues (P<0.001). The expression of the CKLF1 protein showed negative correlation with the gender, histology, differentiation and pathological stage (P>0.05).(2),The positive expression rate of CMTM1 protein was 2% in NSCLC tissue, and showing a high expression rate 100% in the adjacent normal lung tissues (P<0.001). The expression of the CMTM1 protein showed negative correlation with the gender, pathological differentiation and stage(P>0.05). But the expression of CMTM1 protein in the adenocarcinoma was higher than in the squamous cell carcinoma(P=0.011).(3),The positive expression rate of CMTM2 protein was 14% in NSCLC tissue, and showing a high expression rate 100% in the adjacent normal lung tissues (P<0.001). The expression of the CMTM2 protein showed negative correlation with the gender, histology, differentiation and pathological stage (P>0.05).(4),The positive expression rate of CMTM4 protein was 26% in NSCLC tissue, and showing a high expression rate 100% in the adjacent normal lung tissues (P<0.001). The expression of the CMTM4 protein showed negative correlation with the gender, pathological differentiation and stage(P>0.05). But the expression of CMTM4 protein in the adenocarcinoma was higher than in the squamous cell carcinoma(P<0.001).【Conclusions】Chemokine-like factor super family member, CKLF1,CMTM1,CMTM2 and CMTM4, which in the same gene cluster of chromosome (16q22.1 ), were potential antioncogene.
