Based on the preceding study, this paper probes into the category of scope expressions of modern Korean language by employing the theory of cognitive linguistics, semantics feature analysis and the method of semantics orientation analysis. The scope expressions of Korean are mainly represented by means of vocabulary and grammar devices. The vocabulary device includes nouns, adverbs and determiners etc, while the grammar device includes some particles and usage sentences. Nouns used in the scope expression are mostly spatial words. The adverbs of scope expression consist of the general adverbs and the determinate ones. The former are mostly anaphoric and have internal consistency in semantic orientation, while the latter are mostly cataphoric. In the general adverbs of scope expression with the semantic features of [+Transfer], [+vanish], are there"(?)(?), (?)(?)(?), (?), (?)(?)", among them,"(?)(?), (?)(?)(?)"have negative semantic prosody. The determinative adverbs of scope expression are correspondent to determinative particles in sentences. Additionally, this paper gives insight into the modification of nominal words of adverbs of scope expression from the prospective of semantic orientation and functions of words playing focal point. The determiners of scope expression'(?)(?), (?)(?)', with general characteristics both have negative semantic prosody. The particles with scope expression meanings include"(?)(?),(?)(?),(?), (?), (?)(?)". Among them,"(?)(?)"and"(?)(?)"express the beginning and the terminal of a scope, while"(?), (?), (?)(?)"express scope according to sub-items."(?)"has sub-item of [+exclusiveness],"(?)"has sub-item of [+uniqueness], while"(?)(?)"has sub-item of [+negativeness].The usage sentences of scope expression"-(?) (?)(?)(?)(?)/(?)(?)(?) (?)(?)"can both express the features of determination and [+negative expectation].The analysis of corpus shows that if words expressing time, space and things occurred at the same time in a sentence, they would take the order of"time-space-things". And a full explanation on this has been done in terms of cognitive analysis.
