Taking advantage of Archives in Mongolian department of Qing Government Cabinet, Memorials of General Fu Ningan, Entire Translation of Manchu Memorials Replied by Emperor Kangxi with red Colored Brush, Entire Translation of Manchu Memorials Replied by Emperor Yongzheng with Red Colored Brush first time, combining with History of Qing Dynasty, Stratagems within Subjugation to Northern Desert region, Tables and Biographies of Mongolian Royals Confirmed by Emperor, Calendric Summary of Border Qin, Mainly Summary of Empire Dependency, basing on former researching productions, the author of the dissertation discussed the history of Jungyar Empire under ruling of Cewangrabdan(1689-1727). It is included relationship between Jungγar Empire and Qing dynasty, Tibet, Russia on politic, military, economic and diplomacy etc.The dissertation is consisted of preface, main text and conclusion. In the preface, the author explained the intention, meanings, related researching situation, basic history materials, researching methods. There are three chapters in main text, In the chapterⅠ, the author mainly recalled the rising of Jungγar Empire and ruling of Galdan, And discussed the course of enthronement, becoming mightinessi in Mongolian highland, antagonizing with Qing and defeated by powerful Qing dynasty from 1970 to 1697. In the chapterⅡ, the author set forth afresh the early activities of Cewangrabdan, such as history background of his birth, growth, abruption with uncle, attitude toward ashes of Galdan and Qing dynasty. In the chapterⅢ, the author discussed the contend for Hami in 1715. Hami contending ended the twenty years peaceful situation between Jungγar Empire and Qing dynasty and became kickpoint of relationship between Jungγar Empire and Qing dynasty. The real intention of Hami contending was Tibet. Through seizing leader of religion, Cewangrabdan wanted to order whole Mongol, and established Mongol Empire again. In addition, the author carried through textual research about expedition of Yeke Cherindondobu to Tibet. We can see excellent political capacity and outstanding diplomatic talents of Cewangrabdan from his ruling in Jungγar Empire after defeated in Tibet. In conclusion, the author summarized the historical status of Jungyar Empire from late 17th century to early 18th century, improvement, breakthrough and shortage of the dissertation.
