This dissertation restored the history of the theory"Poetry as a means of social intercourse", and studied it's specific form, and theory construction, evolution, practice. Then this dissertation drawed the theory system, revealed its profound connotation, researched its theoretical meaning and practical value in contemporary.Firstly, restored the history of"Poetry as a means of social intercourse". The poetics theory was born in the context of LiYue(礼乐)culture, which summarized the art communication form from ancient to Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasty, revealed the people's aesthetic living style. Group communication experienced three stages of evolution, which was group dance, group sings, and group used poetries. Ancient witch dance aroused group ethnic consciousness and affective commitment by religious experience. LiYue in Zhou dynasty were used to the state and XiangRen. LiYue activity not only was a social institution form, and also an aesthetic social intercourse form, which had three form of Weiyi(威仪),sound,and poem. LiYue signified familial and political hierarchy relationship, promoted the fusion of group relations. In Chunqiu(春秋) period, With LiYue culture transmutation,"Li(礼)"was abstracted and theorized, which political significance and moral significance were strengthened. Singing poems to each other was new communication form, which was elegant and implicative.Secondly,Group poetics and Group feeling of Poetry. Poetry was the carrier of LiYue culture, the system of using poetry decided it's creation, collection, editor, which showed the ceremony poetics and satirize poetics. The poetry was singed by music officer, or played by musical instrument, or chanted by nobleman. LiYue is an important content of poetry,Liyue communication activities determined the meaning generation of poetry. The emotion types which Poetry expressed are as follows: feeling between father and son, monarch and courtiers, brothers, man and wife, friends. Poetry expressed Political relations and Ethical relations, and also group value, emotion, belief, psychology.Thirdly, the theoretical construction and evolution of"Poetry as a means of social intercourse"."Poetry as a means of social intercourse"generalized from LiYue culture. Confucius'"benevolence"fused emotion and"Li", aesthetic and good,"Li"and Poetry can be attributed to"benevolence", thus unify emotional and moral, make group relations harmony. Confucius students edited Confucius Poetics, which emphasized that express emotion according to"Li". Mencius emphasized that benevolence are human nature, and thought that Poetry communication is internal tendencies exchange. Xunzi(荀子) constrainted perceptual desire, strengthen regulation and control, integrate social order. On the context of Han dynasty"Jingxue(经学)", group communication poetics pay attention to political communication. Song dynasty neo-Confucianism advocated communication of moral nature, used natural-principles to control emotion. Early Qing dynasty practical philosophy thought affection is reasonable. Huang-Zongxi claimed that poetry should express eternal affection. Wang-Fuzhi thought the essence of poetry is affection, and advocated affection communication. He also thought that affection can show moral nature, intensified the aesthetic significance of the theory of"Poetry as a means of social intercourse", but still not quit to restrain feeling.Fourthly, Poetics practice of"Poetry as a means of social intercourse". This theory expressed group cultural spirit identity on affection, psychology and belief. Poetry communication extend many aspects of social life, which is daily but recessive culture, thinking mode and behavior, make poetry popularization, poet group huge, group relations aesthetic. This theory can be interpreted as Chinese ancient aesthetic communication theory, which permeated with humanistic spirit, has great value. This theory pay attention to group life existence, make group relations rich warmth. This theory emphasize personality cultivate,make certain human essence in group relations, and achieve social harmony by the realization of the individual spirit. This theory pursue life realm of the unity of aesthetic and good, emphasize affection, moral, aesthetic communication, make political, social life and life realm aesthetic.
