The purpose of the thesis is to solve some problems about the diversified aesthetic orientation of flower-and-bird painting. First, the factors inside the painting and the factors outside the painting are analyzed and studied. Based on this, the writer analyzes the state of the coexistence and development of aesthetic orientations in the history of flower-and-bird painting. In each section of Chapterâ…¢, first, the form, producer, subject-matter, technique, color, origin and influence of each orientation of flower-and-bird paintings of each period are listed in tabular form statically; Then, some factors which have influenced the formation, growth and decline of aesthetic orientation of flower-and-bird painting are analyzed in text form dynamically. The anatomy of the first three chapters proves the importance of the factors inside and outside the painting to the formation and development of aesthetic orientation of flower-and-bird painting. Thus, starting from both the factors inside and outside the painting, the writer puts forward constructive strategies for the development of flower-and-bird painting in new age. The conclusion is that the coexistence and development of aesthetic orientations of flower-and-bird painting are the the footsteps of history that can't be stopped. They are the symbols of prosperity of art and the existence of them are necessary in the development of art. So, efforts should be made from all aspects to promote the diversification and prosperity of flower-and-bird painting.In the thesis, methods of document research, works analysis, case studies, exploratory study, experience summary, descriptive study, induction and deduction, abstraction, comprehensive analysis, etc. are used. The above-mentioned research methods supplement and confirm mutually. By the use of research methods in reason, the writer tries to make the basis of argument appropriate and typical, make the argument correct and profound, make the proof substantial and accurate, and in the end, reaches the objective and fair conclusion.The achievements of the thesis include four aspects. First, it produces the argument that it is objective and necessary for the coexistence of diverse aesthetic orientations of flower-and-bird painting (the argument is new); Second, it produces two aspects of factors which influence the aesthetic orientations of flower-and-bird painting and expounds respectively the effects they have on the formation of diverse aesthetic orientations (the basis of argument is new). Third, in tabular form, it reveals, affected by factors inside the painting, the coexistence of diverse aesthetic orientations of flower-and-bird painting. And, in text form, it reveals, affected by factors outside the painting, the state of development and diversification of aesthetic orientations of flower-and-bird painting in each period. Finally, it produces the strategies to promote the diversification and prosperity of flower-and-bird painting. The strategies are operable, practical, and the practice of them will promote the the diversification and prosperity of flower-and-bird painting greatly (strategies are practical).
