| During the six hundred years of T’ang and Song Dynasties,It is a crucial period for the gradual formation of flower-and-bird painting style.But It has been a long time since it became an independent subject that hadn’t improved in the evaluation system of painting history until Tu-Hua Jian-Wen Zhi was written by Guo Ruo-xu in the mid Northern Song dynasty.It is thus clear that narrow the time frame down to the middle and late T’ang Dynasty to the Northern Song Dynasty.It is proposed to take the flower-and-bird painting of this period as the research object,and based on the research of previous scholars to clarifying several nodes in the dynamic development process of flower-and-bird painting from its initial stage to its maturity and prosperity.The "sketch view" of flower-and-bird painting in the T’ang and Song Dynasties is often mentioned by the academic circles and has achieved fruitful results.One of the important criteria for flower-and-bird painting to become an independent branch is the improvement of the level of copying shapes and objects,especially the maturity of the expression methods of "flowers" and "flower bird combination".However,it is not comprehensive to explore the changes only from the "realistic" tendency,this thesis introduces the concept of "image presentation",uses the professional knowledge to sort out and analyze the image documents and archaeological data.It not only shows the different changes of techniques the object and image individuals appear every time,highlights the value of technology itself;but also starts with the image combination of each unit on the screen,especially from the perspective of "setting scenery",to re understand how the composition of flower-and-bird painting is separated from the character background,and how through the simple combination of creating garden scenery in the Tang Dynasty to developed into a diversified landscape that can control the changes of different characteristics at four times in the Five Dynasties,and achieved the achievement of "creating scenery with things".And in the Northern Song Dynasty,how it reached a higher level of taking the potential to convey feelings,that is,creating the environment and development,and finally derived the meaning outside the image of painting.In addition,this thesis tries to provide a perspective of "painting environment",and use the method of art history and the perspective of cultural history,and to explore the reasons for its transformation.Restores relatively and accurately that how the transformation of flower and bird painting was affected by many factors such as commodity economy,rules and regulations,ruling policy,social mentality,cultural identity and so on. |
