A Study On The Semantic Role Of "Wei Shi" (位事)in Mandarin Chinese

The dissertation made a general systemic depiction of contemporary Chinese semantic role"Wei Shi",based on the seeing about and depiction of language facts,from the point of case mark of Chinese semantic role"Wei Shi",semantic structure,the semantic role projecting syntactic argument and syntactic expression.The dissertation also made a general depiction of appearance and connotation of"K+NP位"and the canto function of"K+NP_位"from the point of dynamic.The dissertation comprises 9 chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.The scope for this dissertation is study actuality of Chinese semantic role of"Wei Shi",the significance of the study,the theories employed,the source of examples and terms used were defined.Chapter Two expounded the case mark of Chinese semantic role"Wei Shi",from the point of definition of Chinese semantic role"Wei Shi",comparison between the case mark of Chinese semantic role"Wei Shi"and the case mark of English semantic role"Wei Shi", including dimensionality,precision and abruption of the case mark of semantic role"Wei Shi".Chapter Three analyzed semantic role"Wei Shi"from the point of semantic aspect,including predication structure,sentence framework and semantic-syntax framework .Chapter Four described all the ways that the semantic role projecting syntactic argument of single predication structure,comparison between reversible sentence of Chinese and reversible sentence of English.Chapter Five described all the ways that the semantic role projecting syntactic argument of double predication structure , including semantic role"Wei Shi"projected complement,subject,object and adverbial modifier. Chapter Six described syntactic expression of semantic role"Wei Shi", including the composing of semantic role"Wei Shi",sentencce type made up of semantic role"Wei Shi".Chapter Seven explained the generative rule of the semantic role projecting syntactic argument , including the generative rule of adverbial modifier and complement,the generative rule of object,the generative rule of subject.Chapter Eight described the appearance and connotation of"K+NP_位", including the indispensable appearance of"K+ NP_位",the indispensable connotation of"K+ NP_位"and the optional appearance and connotation of"K+ NP_位".Chapter Nine described the canto function of"K+NP_位",including phoricity,Ellipsis,glossarial conjunction,derivation of topic,contrast and emphasize,clew interspace clue,canto conjunctive function,canto domination function,etc.At last,It summarized the discussion in the dissertation,the uncovered aspects concerning the study was pointed out,Then the problems to be studied in the future were put forward.
