The semantic role - "Wei Shi" is named by Chen Changlai in 1997 on the base of Fillmore's conception of "Location". It is also defined according Fan Xiao's theory what is called "verb-- central structure". What's more, the verb should have special features. It is acted by the traditional location non verbs. But as a special semantic role it is compulsory in deep-structure. Meanwhile it also plays very important part in surface-structure. It can't be deleted. So it is different from location.Verbs appeared together with this semantic role have special features. " Wei Shi "means positions that things exist or move towards ,etc. Some other semantic roles acted by traditional location none words which are nor necessary are defined "Jing Shi". They are the non-arguments that can be deleted. When the verb-central structure projects into syntactic structure some appoints work, including syntactic, semantic and pragmatic aspects. This thesis tries to discuss the actors. In common static sentences, "Wei Shi" projects object of verbs and prepositions, separately forming the basic and derived semantic- syntax framework.. When making the sentences for communicating the pragmatic factors are more essential. Under that situation the semantic role -"Wei Shi" may deviate from its usual position. As a result, many different styles of the structure come out and several aspects can be discussed. This thesis will give an analysis about "Wei Shi" based on the language facts and will describe all the ways that the semantic role projecting syntactic argument. What's more important, the article is going to explain the generative rule of the sentences deeply.
