The Study On The Culture Of Tai-language Movies

Tai-language movies, commonly known as videos taken with theTai-language,is the film what was shooted during 1955 to 1981 in Taiwan, dubbed in "the Taiwanese", using Taiwan resources and reflecting the Taiwan culture. It registered as "Tai-language movies" by the Taiwan authorities.Tai-language films can be said to be a group of precious heritage in Taiwan's cultural history, through them, we can understand the historical appearance and the cultural patterns in Taiwan specific age.This article consists of five chapters. On the base of the Taiwanese film history and Taiwanese social history in prosperous period of Tai-language movies, we try to explain the cultural connotation of Tai-language movies, by the method of video Criticism, culturology.Chapter One:fleeting elegance---an overview of Tai-language movies. First, introducing the growing background and growing conditions of Tai-language movies, followed by an outline of the development history of Tai-language movies, the final analysising of the reasons for the decline of Tai-language movies.Chapter Two:from sadness to joy-the development of Tai-language movies. Looking at the development history of more than twenty years of Tai-language movies, we can see a clear development context.In the point of the film's style, Tai-language movies clearly reflects the shift from tragedy to comedy. Studying the change of Tai-language movies in this period, you can get a glimpse of the mentality of the people of Taiwan at that time, and show the life of the people of Taiwan in a particular historical period.Chapter Three folk significance-demonstration of folk culture in the Tai-language movie. Popular Tai-language movie themes, close to the people, is a reflection of plebeian culture. In the Tai-language movies, we found folk culture full of variety, which is more clearly reflected in the Taiwan folk literature and art, religion, clan, and several other aspects.Chapter Four polytonal presentation-the diversity cultural landscape in the Tai-language movies. The first is the interpretation of opera films which have traditional Chinese culture, followed by a variety of local culture, such as folk culture, tourism culture, minority cultures; and the impact and fusion of foreign culture.Chapter Five unforgettable souvenior-the achievements and impact of Tai-language movies. Throughout the development history of Tai-language movies, its achievement can not be ignored. Therefore, this paper concludes with a summary of the achievements of Tai-language movies, discusses the role of Tai-language movies, and illustrates its impact on the cultural history of Taiwan.
