Since the new century, Chinese youth director's discourse constructing prospect and communicating logic can reflect the contemporary Chinese social development context and trends,which worth researching as a communication study topic in the context of globalizing . Therefore, this paper focused on the new century Chinese youth director group, on the vertical axis with 2000 - 2011 as the time of the background, the horizontal axis to the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan as a discursive space, trying to break a single divide research perspective. Through dialectical thinking of"Differences in Unity"and "Seeking Unity in Differences ",this paper set up the unity of the macro view on Chinese film and deeply analyses the discourse constructing prospect and communicating logic of movies in these three region under the Mainstream culture, Elite culture and Consumer culture.The main part of the paper has six chapters, there are eight parts altogether including introduction and conclusion. The main content of the introduction consists of the literature review related to discourse and discourse analysis, the current state about this research ,the interpretation of this thesis's research purpose, method, significance and frame.Chapter One Film discourse analysis theory: Analysis of the definition and factors of analysisThis chapter includes two main parts. The first part analyses the core concept of this research——"discourse"and"movie discourse". on the one hand, from the core concept,"discourse",this chapter systematically outlines(CDA)the developing process and main ideas of critical discourse analysis ,which is the important theoretical resource for this paper. Thus, it laid a solid theoretical background for the research. On the other hand, this chapter clearly explains the connotation of"movie discourse"and established film discourse analysis theory frame initially. On that basis,this paper will further illustrate the application of discourse analysis to film studies.The second part illustrates the elements of the three-region youth director's movie discourse.First,it illustrates the community features of three-region youth director , who is the subject of movie discourse. Second,it explains systematically the political, capital, culture and audience contexts for movie discourse production and dissemination.Chapter Two Reread of historical discourse: Grand Narrative and subject rebuildThis chapter focus on types of historical discourse, does thematic studies on discourse text and context,argues and concludes that in the historical discourse expression of the three-region youth director ,there exist three features, discourse harmonic under the historical thinking of grand narrative, words confusing reflected by culture self-examination and discourse departure dominated by consumption culture law. On this basis,in this chapter,we deeply investigate the social culture reason for the formation of representation of discourses, dialysis historical discourse processing and social cognition of youth film director based on the three places cultural fusion context, and point out its strategy of historical discourse processing is historical subject replacement operated by consciousness.Chapter Three Realistic discourse construction: two shell and a pulse elegyThis chapter does thematic studies of realistic discourse type on discourse text and context. In the form of discourse, there are two different styles. One is the use of documentary filming techniques, under the guise of the original ecology of the actor; dialects and other non-fiction elements to create a fictional story, making the film present a rough credible realist style.The rhythm is relatively heavy. Another image style might be called "poetic realism."They are not trivial layout of life, but carefully designed narrative structure and screen tone, which represent the aesthetic style of the poetry.Chapter Four Production of urban meaning: double mirror and spatial variationThis chapter does thematic studies of urban discourse type on discourse text and context. The first section,we analyses the differences between the two types of urban discourse features——the dream stage and the cold jungle Analysis; The second section goes into closer analysis of discourse practice from the public space theory. This section analyses the text of the four types of typical space thoroughly——the wine shop and the teahouse (communication space), traffic tools (free space), department stores and small shops (consumption space), urban landmarks (symbolizing space),and then examine the deep interaction between of its spatial variation and the social and cultural discourse context. After the specific analysis of three-region directors' strategies to express the discourse,this chapter begins to illustrate the context,the motif express logic and the close connection between the social and cultural context of the three regions. Chapter Six local marketing and overseas communication: business context and world visionThis chapter discusses the marketing communication situation of three-region youth directors' film discourse.On the one hand,in the expense culture linguistic environment, youth directors' film discourse,as mass cultural products, must adapt to the market while it is conducting systemic and organic marketing communication.Currently , the local marketing of youth directors' discourse aims at packaging movie discourse as Cultural consumption hotspot ,becoming a public issue during the particular segment of social communication, interpersonal communication.Meanwhile,the setting of this issue often caters to or even gives in to a certain discourse,which can reflect the contemporary Chinese social and cultural context.On the other hand, as an important discourse carrier to reflect the situation of contemporary social culture,youth directors' discourse bears the important responsibility of The Times.It not only reveals the multilayer and multi-dimension of contemporary Chinese social life ,but also avoids falling into the discourse trap of international Western-centrism,becoming cultural misreading tools of "the other".
