Ideology And Ideological Cybernetics

For a long time,the studies of ideology has been based on the traditional perspectives and habituallyused methods and have put the exploration of ideology in the traditional perspective of epistemology.Andthese studies of ideology attempt to seek the relations between ideology and economic foundation of theobjective society and thus reveal the the relations between ideology of the ruling classes and the socialeconomic foundation in class society.Marx and Engels'study and criticism on bourgeois ideology also mainly focus on the perspective ofepistemology which is determined by the social and historical conditions of the time during which theylived.During the time in which Marx and Engels lived,proletariat hadn't gained state power,and theirmain duty wasn't instructing proletariat in how to use and manage state apparatus.All in all,their mainduty was improving class consciousness and theoretical level of proletarian class and thus makingproletariat get themselves out of the ideology of bourgeoisie.So,in that historical period,Marx and Engelsput the importance of their study of ideology on revealing the falsity of old ideology.Marx madecomparison between the ideology of bourgeoisie and its social and economic foundation,thus showing therelation between economic foundation and superstructure.And the comparison done by Marx explores inclass society how ideology of bourgeoisie was upgraded to the ideology of the whole society,and how itwas recognized and accepted by all the members of the society.During the process of revealing the falsityof ideology of bourgeoisie,we can see clearly that Marx began his critism on ideology of bourgeoisie fromthe decisive role of economic foundation on superstructure and historical materialism was established.However,in the end,Marx couldn't see that socialism or communism has become reality.There is no doubt that it is necessary for us to study ideology from the perspective of epistemology.However,because for a long time we have been sticking to this perspective,it is very difficult for us tomake breakthrough of developments in the study of the issue of ideology,and it is difficult for us to get anoverall,exact,objective and complete understanding of ideology.Nowadays,with the deepening of the world's globalization and China's reform and opening to theoutside world,conflict and collision of the field of ideology in the world is also increasing.Through theprocess of Economic Globalization,the US-led Western developed captalist countries,began their ideological propaganda and infiltration to developing countries,especially socialist China,which conflictsthe dominant position of our social ideology greatly.At the same time,the development of market economyand the reform of economic and political structure have made part of the social members change their ideas,and as a result of that,the recognization for ideology of social members is converted from the politicalcenter to the center of economic interests.The diversification of values leads to the diversification of ideasand dereases the dominant position of our social ideology.To sum up,under the action of complicatedcircumstances both at home and abroad,a complicated and changeable situation has appeared in the field ofour ideology,the broad masses of the people's recognization and acceptability for socialist ideology havebeeb lessened,and the guiding position of Marxism in the field of our ideology has been reduced.It isdifficult to give full play to the function of integration,constraint and specification in ideology.Safety inthe field of ideology is threatened.Meanwhile,because of the rapid development of Science andTechnology,internet is playing an increasingly important role in people's daily life,and it has become animportant tool for ideological propaganda and infiltration of the countries around the world.Through theinternet,we can see more and more speeches which doubt our socialist system,our party and the politicalactions of our government.In some degree,these speeches lessen the legal status of socialist politicalsystem and the political actions of the party and the government,and threaten the national security.How toconsolidate socialist political and economic systems with Chinese characteristics,and how to consolidatethe guiding position of Marxism in our socialist ideology have become a theoretical and practical problem.In this context,the study of ideology still only remains in the perspective of epistemology,and this alreadycannot solve the new problems faced by the socialist ideology.New perspective and method must beadopted to do deep analysis and research on specific ideological issues.This thesis tries to combine ideological issues and cybernetics together to study ideology in thetheoretical methods of cybernetics.This thesis tries to answer the following questions:how do our partyand government achieve their effective control of China's socialist ideology;how is socialist ideologyrecognized and accepted by the broad masses of the people;how does socialist ideology play its ideologicalcontrol functions.And this thesis tries to solve the new problems and situations in the field of China'ssocialist ideology in the new historical period.On the one hand,the study of this subject tries to seek abreakthrough in study of ideology from a methodological point of view.On the other hand,this study has important significance to solve the problems faced by the field of China's socialist ideology.
