Transcendence Of Human Nature

Song - Ming li xue is an important thinking achievement in ancient China .From a perspective of modern psychology,we find in it a psychology aboutpsychic self------a psychology with its emphasis on the development of a psychicself.In our study, such a psychology has three contributions. First, on the basis of traditional theory of excellent man, a man' s psychic development was expounded. Second, it advanced some rich insights into the relatedness of function and essence'in psychic self's structure. Third, under the given cultural context, an effective approach both in theory and practice was suggested for the development of psychic self.Also from a perspective of modern psychology, we should know that the psychic self theory is achieved within traditional Chinese scholarship which is different from modern one. Then can we only absorb its insights through the lens of modern psychology.
