The times from th e Han D ynasty to the S outh & North D ynasty saw a progress of the h umoristic l iterature , which from a simple being just for amusement became a literary category owning many forms and particular characteristic through advancing of art and deepen ing of meanin g . There were fine piece s being br ought forth in succession and a prosperous state came into being at end. To all of affairs mentioned above, the thesis devot es systemic and serious studding in its three main section . The discourse about the property , ch aracter , development al state and cultural background of the h umoristic ode s in the Han D ynasty is in the first section what can mostly be cut into four parts according to different period s. At first, through examining political status , ideology , self - choic e of the bureaucracy - intellect s in the court of the Emperor Hanwu, to find the motive of the writers such as Dongfang Suo who had written the h umoristic ode s, so the essence and estate of the h umoristic ode s by the bureaucracy - intellect s were clarified. Fourthl y, the situation of h umoristic ode composition is described and the reason why there was a calmer posture of h umoristic ode .s development but at the ending a rising appear ed in the times of the East - Han D ynasty is probed. In the times of Three Countr y , the scene of h umoristic l iterature composition put up a peculiar activity that a great deal writing s with new connotation s and characters came out and new types such as prose , poe m, story appeared i n addition to ode which w as the almost only one before. Why did the h umoristic l iterature have a spring in the times have two reasons, one is that in complex political condition men.s sense of 5 humor is needed and exercised, the other is the declination of Confucianism, the liberat ion of men. s thinking and nature of self - expression and joy - finding. The section two is about all of this fact above what can be divide d into five parts to relate.
