Wei Rural Society And Its Changes Study

This dissertation is about the rural society of Wei, Jin and South and NorthDynasties. Centralizing the basic society composed of the particular community, adding to the author's own opinions on the research of social history, the author places weight on the change of the organization and administration of the rural society in Wei, Jin and South and North Dynasties, the control of the rural society, the change of the rural settlement, the clan and rural society, the rural society affected by the change of the natural environment, the natural disasters, the epidemics, the folk maxims and the social judgment of the rural people. Employing the methods of "seeing downward" and "investigating the history from lower to upper", the author tries to find out the developing tendency of that time's rural society and grasp the running orbit. Simultaneously, by the ways of historical empirical studies and special titles research, the author expounds the several phenomena, features and change appearing in that time's rural society.According to the author's opinions, at the aspects of the rural settlement type, the feudal government's administering and controlling the rural society, the development of the rural clan force and the rural people's judgment on the feudal rule, because of the special social background, the period of Wei, Jin and South and North Dynasties is very different from the others and greatly influences many parts of the later rural society.Thrqugh the aforementioned investigations, the author tries to show the features of that time's rural society and fills the blank of studying the rural society from the view points of social history field.
